Good Morning Word Family. Our W Word today says:

“LORD, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.”
2 Chronicles 20:6, NIV

Many times when the people faced a big challenge in the Old Testament, they started their prayer by talking about the greatness of God. In today’s Scripture, King Jehoshaphat had three armies surrounding Judah. He gathered the people at the city square in Jerusalem to seek God. He didn’t say, “God, where are You? We’re about to be captured.” He said, “Lord, You alone are God. You are the ruler of the nations. You are powerful and mighty. No one can stand against you. We remember how you brought us through war, through famine, through disease. Now we’re asking you, O great God, to deliver us from these mighty armies.”
When you remind yourself of who you’re dealing with, you won’t pray weak prayers. You’ll pray boldly. You’ll ask God to do the impossible, what seems unlikely. Those are prayers that get God’s attention. The people of Judah didn’t even have to fight. The enemy armies turned on each other and defeated themselves. Where will you be in ten years if you do as Jehoshaphat did and start praying bold prayers?

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are the great God who is in Heaven, the ruler of the nations, and You are fighting my battles. Thank You for how You go beyond my requests and exceed my expectations. I believe that You will do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Rise and Shine and give God the glory. 🙌🏼 Our W Word today says:

They answered Joshua, “We will do whatever you command us, and we will go wherever you send us.”
Joshua 1:16, NLT

When God brought the Israelites out of slavery and took them to the Promised Land, He promised that all they had to do was go in and take the land. But the Israelites were too afraid of the people in the land and turned away. They spent forty years in the desert running from things that God promised they could conquer. The next generation of Israelites came back to the Promised Land, saw the same giants and fortified cities, but had a different attitude. They refused to spend their lives wandering in the desert. They declared to Joshua that they would do whatever he commanded, face the opposition, and take the same land their parents could have had.
Don’t be like the Israelites and spend years of your life running from things God has already given you victory over.
You may need to confront pride, confront a bad attitude, or confront compromise. When you face your fears, defeat bad habits, or forgive the wrongs and hurts others have caused, you will enter your promised land. The victory is already yours.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God and that no giant or stronghold is too great for You. Thank You that You are leading me into my promised land as I confront and face areas of my life that have held me back. Help me to be bold to take my promised land. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. TGIF! We give God thanks for His Grace and Mercies. Our W Word today says:

First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men.
1 Timothy 2:1 (AMPC)

When we pray, we both speak to God and listen to Him speak to us. One type of prayer is intercession, which is simply praying for someone besides yourself. It is crying out to God on someone else's behalf, taking their needs to Him in prayer, and at times hearing something from Him about their situation.

Intercession is one of the most important kinds of prayer because many people do not pray for themselves or do not know how. Why? Because they have no relationship with God. There are also times when circumstances are so difficult, stress is so high, the hurt is too great, or things are so confusing that people do not know how to pray for their own situations.

And, there are times when people have prayed and prayed and prayed for themselves and they simply have no strength left to pray. For example, I once visited a friend who was in the hospital suffering with cancer. She had fought a valiant fight and prayed like a warrior, but she reached a point where she was not strong enough to pray the way she wanted to and she said, "Joyce, I just cannot pray anymore." She needed her friends to pray for her—not just to pray for her, but to really pray for her—to pray in her place because she could not.

I am sure there are people in your life who need prayer, people who need you to speak to God and hear from Him on their behalf. I encourage you to ask Him to show you who they are and to be faithful to pray for them.

Prayer of the Day:
Father, guide me as I pray and intercede. Direct me to always think of others and lift up their burdens to You. Help me to listen for Your wisdom as I do for others, In Jesus’ Name. amen.

Good Morning Word Family. It’s another beautiful day to give our God thanks. 🙌🏼 Our W Word today says:

So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a dream or vision and didn’t believe it was really happening.
Acts 12:9, TLB

King Herod had had Peter chained between two guards in the deepest part of the prison, but in the middle of the night an angel came to rescue him. What’s interesting is that the whole time Peter was following the angel, he thought he was seeing a vision of himself walking past two guard posts and the iron gate opening by itself. He didn’t realize it was real until he got out on the street, walking as a free man.

Sometimes you don’t realize that God is doing things that are leading you to open doors. It’s only after you get past it that you’ll look back and think, “Wow, God! You were ordering my steps, bringing the right person to help, and making me invisible to the people who weren’t for me.” How many times have angels worked on our behalf, but we couldn’t see it? Even now, God is working behind the scenes and is about to open doors of healing, freedom, and abundance for you. It looks like an iron gate, but of its own accord, it’s going to open.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that no matter what trouble I face, I can stay in peace knowing that You are surrounding me and You can turn every situation around and put an end to it. Thank You that You even send angels in various forms to rescue me. I declare that You are greater than any force that comes against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Our W Word today says:

“I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”
Genesis 17:16, NIV

When God spoke today’s Scripture, Sarah was nearly ninety years old. The original promise of a son had been given twenty-five years previous to this. What’s interesting is that Sarah wanted a baby, but God was setting up something much bigger, much better. She would have been thrilled to give birth to a son, but God wanted a nation. She not only had a son at ninety years old, but she gave birth to nations; kings of people came out of her.

It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re waiting for a promise from God. It can be frustrating when it’s taking longer than you thought for God’s plan to unfold. Maybe the reason your dream is taking longer, the reason that promise hasn’t come to pass yet, is because what God is going to do is so much bigger, so much more fulfilling than what you have in mind. You’re not going to give birth to a son, but to nations, so to speak. God has already scheduled “wow” moments, things you never dreamed would happen.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the dreams, the promises, the potential, the seeds of greatness that You put inside me. Thank You that You set me up for things that are bigger and better and more fulfilling than I can imagine. I believe I will give birth to my dreams. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Our W Word today says:

So Elisha…took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.
1 Kings 19:21, NIV

Elisha was plowing in a field, leading the twelfth team of oxen, when the prophet Elijah walked up and threw his cloak on Elisha and said, “Come work for me.” Elisha was next in line to run their successful family business and had plenty of resources, staff, and a nice place to live. His future was set. Why would he want to leave? God suddenly dropped such a strong desire in Elisha that he left it all behind and went with Elijah to be his servant. Sometimes what God puts in your heart doesn’t make sense on paper or to other people. But God won’t move you out unless He has something better. Not long after that, Elijah was taken to Heaven, and Elisha received a double portion of his spirit. The prophet Elisha performed twice as many miracles as Elijah. If you keep God first, He’s going to put desires in you and open doors you never dreamed would open, bringing opportunities, influence, favor, and resources. The best path is an abundant path that takes you further than you could imagine.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You know the best path, the most abundant path, for my life. Thank You that You put the right desires in my heart to take me beyond where I would ever dream of going. I believe that You are opening doors even now that I could never open. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Rise and Shine and give God the Glory. 🙌🏼 Our W Word today says:

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.
Colossians 3:23, NKJV

It’s not always the big things that are keeping us from God’s best; it’s the small things. If we aren’t showing respect and honoring our spouse by doing a small thing that’s important to them, that small thing will keep you from your greatness. You can’t be harsh, contentious, and hard to get along with and reach your potential. Sometimes it involves things we don’t feel like doing, something that doesn’t seem fair. At work, you’re not getting credit or someone is not treating you right. Why should you be kind to them, keep a good attitude, and go the extra mile?
God is saying, “Will you do it as unto Me? Will you keep your mouth closed for Me? Will you be kind to that undeserving person for Me? Will you be your best at work for Me?” Do it as unto God. He’s the One who matters. Promotion doesn’t come from people; it comes from Him. When you do the right thing when it’s hard, you’re passing the test. You’re going to go to levels that you’ve never imagined.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for calling me to be a person of excellence in everything I do, to go the second mile and always be my best. I want being my best to flow out of my heart of love for You. I believe that as I give it my all, I will see Your goodness and favor in my life in new ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good morning Word Family. TGIF! We give thanks to God for His Grace and Mercies. Our W Word today says:

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:12, NLT

One definition of hope is “the happy anticipation of something good.” If you’re anticipating something good, for a dream to be fulfilled, it brings you joy and gives you passion. When you believe that God is arranging blessings in your favor, you’re going to be excited about life. It will affect your attitudes, your relationships, and your productivity. But if you’re not anticipating anything good, if you think you’re stuck, that a problem is permanent, that you’ve reached your limits, that mind-set will drain your energy, stifle your creativity, and take your joy. You’ll just drag through the day as you endure life.
God created you to have something to look forward to. Faith is all about believing that God has good plans for you, that He’s taking you where you’ve never gone, and that the best days of your health, finances, and relationships are still in front of you. That’s not just being positive; that’s getting in agreement with God. That’s what allows Him to do amazing things and bring your dreams to fulfillment as a tree of life.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the hope rising in my heart that You have good things in store for me. Thank You that my hope is secure in who You are, that You never fail, and that You will bring my dreams to fulfillment. I expect to see You do amazing things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. It’s another beautiful day to give thanks to our God. 🙌🏼 Our W Word today says:

“Now bring me someone who can play the harp.” While the harp was being played, the power of the LORD came upon Elisha.
2 Kings 3:15, NLT

In 2 Kings 3, the armies of Judah, Israel, and Edom traveled through the desert for seven days to attack the Moabites when they completely ran out of water. They didn’t know what to do and were desperate, so they went to ask the prophet Elisha what God wanted them to do. However, Elisha didn’t want to have anything to do with the evil king of Israel. He was annoyed and angered, but because of his friend King Jehoshaphat, he agreed to do it. Elisha knew that being irritated and upset, he couldn’t hear from God in that setting, so he asked for a harpist to play. He had to change the atmosphere, and when the harp was played, God’s power came on Elisha, and he began to prophesy the answer. It’s amazing what God will do if you create the right atmosphere. When there’s worry, doubt, and frustration, that keeps us from seeing the goodness of God. As Elisha did, bring in the harp. Turn up the praise. Create an atmosphere of faith, hope, and expectancy. That’s what causes God to show up.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God and Your power can turn impossible circumstances around and bring an abundance of favor. Thank You that I walk by faith and not by sight. I am going to keep believing, keep praising, and keep looking to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Our W Word this morning says:

But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.
Genesis 48:14, NIV

When Israel blessed the sons of Joseph, he purposefully crossed his hands and gave Ephraim the firstborn blessing. The tradition was that the right hand always gave the greatest blessing to the firstborn son. Israel was saying, “Ephraim may have been in the back and is not next in line, but I’m shifting him to a new position. I’m taking him from the back to the front. I will give him what he doesn’t deserve.” That’s the way our God is. He has shifts in your future that will put you in positions you didn’t earn and didn’t qualify for. You may not have the seniority, but God will cross His hands and say, “I’m moving you from the back to the front, from not being qualified to suddenly being qualified, from being looked down on or disrespected to being honored and seen with influence and credibility.” This shift will put you at a place where you look back and say, “God, You amaze me with Your goodness.” Start expecting unprecedented favor, believing for God to do something new in your life.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that there are new levels of my destiny to which You are taking me that come from Your goodness and love. I expect to see Your hand of unprecedented favor working in ways exceedingly abundantly above and beyond my greatest dreams. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Our W Word today says:

A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.
Proverbs 17:22, NKJV

Not all sickness is from a lack of emotional well-being, but anytime you are weighed down with stress, burdens, disappointments, hurts, and worry, those negative emotions get into your soul and spill over to the physical. If you go around discouraged, defeated, and saying, “Look at this medical report. I’m never going to get well,” you’re helping that sickness. You’re giving it life, and you’re making yourself sicker. Today’s Scripture says that when you’re cheerful because you know God is in control, you get free from the bitterness, the guilt, the stress, the worry, and the anger that tries to dominate your soul. When you’re thanking Him when you could be complaining, when you’re laughing when you could be crying, that’s sending healing to your body. That’s when healing is released. How many diseases will go away—headaches, high blood pressure, digestive problems—when we start taking our medicine by laughing, being joyful and good-natured? Learn to live from a place of faith and joy. It’s amazing what can happen to our physical well-being when our soul gets healthy.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the healing power that flows through a joyful heart. Thank You that You created me with a way to release some of the stress and other negative emotions that try to get in and poison my soul. I choose to rejoice and be glad in You today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Rise and Shine and give God the Glory! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Our W Word today says:

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth.
Psalm 149:6, NKJV

Too often instead of taking our praise to God, we’re taking our problems to Him. “God, I’ve had this addiction for twenty-seven years. I don’t think I’ll ever break it.” “God, these children are getting on my nerves. You’d better keep me sane.” “God, I’m working two jobs and still don’t have enough. I don’t understand it.” It’s easy to turn prayer into a complaining session, but remember, God already knows your needs. You don’t have to tell God everything that’s wrong, what you don’t like, and how long it’s been that way. It’s much better to take your praise to God rather than your problems. Your financial situation may not look good, but turn it around. “Lord, thank You that You are supplying all my needs. Thank You that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord my Provider.” You may not feel well, but instead of complaining, say, “Lord, thank You that I’m getting healthier, stronger, better every day.” Your child is off course. “Lord, thank You that my child will fulfill his destiny.” Praise gets God’s attention, not complaining.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God who reigns over every problem that I face. Thank You that You know the details of every situation I am struggling with. I’m going to give You my highest praise and stay in peace, knowing it’s all in Your hands. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. TGIF! Our W Word today says:

Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets.
2 Samuel 6:14–15, NIV

In 2 Samuel 6, David and his men had just recovered the ark of the covenant. There was a huge celebration, with shouts of joy, trumpets blowing, cymbals crashing. David was so excited that he danced with all of his might. He was the distinguished king, but he didn’t hold back from celebrating the goodness of God. When his wife Michal saw him dancing and leaping, it says she was filled with contempt and criticized him for acting like a vulgar person. David responded, “I was celebrating before the Lord, not you. What you think of me is not going to keep me from being who I am.” David wasn’t controlled by what other people thought. When you’re honoring God, when you’re being your best, some people are going to find fault with you. They won’t give you their approval unless you lower your standards and conform to their thinking. That’s okay. Be a David. Have the attitude: “I don’t need your approval. I’m keeping God first place. I’m going to live with integrity. I’m going to do the right thing when it’s hard.”

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the people in my life who celebrate You and approve me. Help me, though, to honor You and be my best when other people find fault and try to change me. I declare that I will freely worship and serve You with all my might. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Our Word today says:

The word of the LORD came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”
Jeremiah 1:11, NIV

God promised Jeremiah an amazing future, that he would speak to and impact nations, but Jeremiah made excuses that he couldn’t possibly do that. Doubt, fear, and insecurity clouded his vision. God touched his lips and said, “Don’t worry. I will put My words in your mouth.” God will never ask you to do something and not give you the ability to do it. Then He asked Jeremiah, “What do you see?” Jeremiah answered, “I see the branch of an almond tree starting to bud and blossom.” He was saying, in effect, “I see growth. I see new opportunities. I see me stepping into new levels.” Because his vision cleared, he went on to impact nations, to blossom just as God said. God is asking you, “What do you see?” He has given you amazing promises in His Word, but maybe your vision has been limited by disappointments, setbacks, and doubts. Open your eyes to a new, fresh vision; clear out all the negative, limited thinking, and see yourself blessed, prosperous, healthy, achieving goals, building the kingdom, being a blessing. See yourself as God sees you.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that Your plan for my life is that I am always in blossom, making an impact and being a blessing. Thank You that I can fill my mind with Your Word and know Your thoughts toward me. I believe my vision is clearing and expanding for greater things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Our W Word today says:

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." Matthew 7:24, NIV

When we have rock-solid faith, we won’t be moved by what’s happening around us. We have peace in our hearts and minds because our hope is in God. We have an attitude that says, “I’m not moved by this medical report. I respect and honor people who are trying to help me, but I know God can do what medical science cannot do. God made my body.” “I’m not moved by the economy, the stock market or my job situation. I know God supplies all my needs. He promised He would prosper me even in a recession.” “I’m not moved by how my children are acting. I’m not stressed out because they’re off course, making poor choices. I know it’s only a matter of time. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Friend, that’s unshakable faith. That’s building your house on a rock-solid foundation. When the storms of life come, you won’t be moved. How do you stay rock solid? By meditating on the Word of God and following His commands. It’s that simple. Instead of making your circumstances the focus, you make God the focus and stand strong and secure in Him! Today, make spending time with God your number one priority and learn to stay rock solid in Him!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for Your Word which is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I choose to hide Your Word in my heart. I choose to meditate on Your promises. I know that You are faithful to Your Word and thank You for rock-solid faith as I keep my heart and mind focused on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Good morning Word Family. Our W Word this morning says:

There was a certain man there who had suffered with a deep-seated and lingering disorder for thirty-eight years.
John 5:5, AMPC

In John 5, the crippled man got up every morning and had his family bring him to the pool of Bethesda in hopes that he would be healed when an angel stirred the water. He came faithfully, but with no one to help him, someone else always got ahead of him. His problem became deep-seated and lingering. You can imagine his mind-set: “This is my lot in life, and it’s never going to change.” When Jesus came to him, He understood the man’s disorder, and in His mercy, He said, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”
Perhaps you’re dealing with a lingering problem that just won’t go away—an anxiety, trouble in your marriage, an addiction or sickness. You’ve prayed and stood in faith, but it’s not changed. God sees you at the pool. He knows the weight of what you’re carrying, and He’s headed your way. That problem that’s hindered you so long—the financial difficulty, the relationship issue, the insecurity—is about to suddenly turn around. God is about to show up and do something that amazes you.

Prayer For Today:
“Father, thank You that this is a new day and that right now You are about to do a new thing in my life. Thank You that You have a way to break through the negative things that keep me stuck. I believe that You see where I am and You’re on the way with freedom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. Our Rise and shine and give God the Glory. 🙌🏼 Our W Word today says:

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.
Psalm 48:14, NIV

You may be discouraged today and think that your life situation will never change. Maybe you can’t see anything happening. But if the curtain was pulled back, you could see into the unseen realm. There, you would see God at work arranging things in your favor. It may not happen overnight, but at the right time, in your due season, God will not only move the wrong people out of the way, but He also will pay you back for every injustice.

He will make up for lost time, open doors to the right opportunities, and bring the right people across your path. He’s even looking years down the road and arranging solutions to problems that you haven’t had yet. He will guide you to where you’re supposed to be. You may have taken a couple of steps backward in recent times, but right now, God is going before you to prepare the next chapter of your life. If you stay in faith and keep the right attitude, you will enter a better chapter, a chapter with greater victories and greater fulfillment.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You have called me to walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You that Your power is working in the unseen realm to bring about Your promises in my life. I will live with a sense of expectancy that You are guiding me and leading me into new chapters of my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning Word Family. TGIF! We give God thanks and praise for His Grace and Mercies. Our W Word today says:

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 5:21, NIV

If you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are the righteousness of God. That means you are one with Him and an extension of His virtue. You are approved by Him. You are in right standing with Him. You belong to Him.
Not only did Jesus pay for the punishment for your sins, the Scripture says He actually became sin. He took sin upon Himself and into His being so that you could take God’s righteousness upon yourself and into your being. It’s the great exchange.
Today, don’t let the enemy hold you back by making you feel guilty or condemned. You are not who you used to be; you are the righteousness of God in Christ! First John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If there is anything in your life that is holding you back today, confess it to God. Let Him cleanse you and make you new. Remember, He paid a precious price so that you could be His righteousness. Meditate on this truth and let Him set you free!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for cleansing me and making me new. Thank You for making me the righteousness of God in Christ. Help me to fully understand this so I can walk in the fullness of the blessing You have prepared for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
