According to district officials On some days, 300 Russian Grad rockets hit Marjinka. But there are still some people who are willing to get in to help.

Last week we followed Nadeschda Krugljak and her sons who deliver food and medicine every day and fetch the old and sick from the village and the two officials Rustam and Wassilij, who still regularly go to Marjinka whenever someone needs an ambulance or get out of the town.

Sascha's house was hit by the projectile, lucky it didn't fire but it is still in their living room. He lived with his wife Natascha at the border of Marinka for the last 25 years. They say that they don't have anywhere else to go but stay in their home.

People outside in the backyard of their shelter. Some say the reason they stay is the rents are too expensive elsewhere and also they are not welcomed.

Two people had to try to run away from Marinka a few weeks ago. When a Russian shell hits right behind them, they lose control of the car and hit the tree. Both of them died in the accident.
