🇬🇧 One of the most key bands in the Polish death/black metal scene, Azarath, will perform in Turkey for the first time on February 16, 2025, organized by Deathground! The band has solidified its place in the underground extreme scene, especially in recent years, with consecutive releases of the albums Blasphemers' Malediction (2011), In Extremis (2017), and Saint Desecration (2020).

Doom metal sahnesinin uluslararası gruplarından biri olan Marche Funèbre, 19 Nisan 2025 tarihinde İstanbul'da hayranlarıyla buluşuyor! "In my case, I try to avoid as much as I can to sound like a copycat, by avoiding just making random parts and layer them without thinking of the outcome. So what I do with synthesizers and orchestrations is that I use them mostly for creating an atmosphere and to fill some gaps in the songs, but more importantly to enhance the melodic aspect of my music, and I think it’s a plus that matches the vibe of Melodic Death Metal, so adding it to the music doesn’t make it sound “strange”. "

Bosphorus Metal Festival 2024 is behind us. Hundreds of metal fans met their favorite bands. Rain, mud, thunder, lightning, storms, metal fans had a full day. We made plans to interview a few bands at this festival. We also had a short interview with Vorph, Samael's frontman. Since we were at the backstage, it was a bit noisy and limited.

SAMAEL Bosphorus Metal Fest

Bosphorus Metal Festival 2024 geride kaldı. Yüzlerce metal hayranı sevdiği gruplarla buluştu. Yağmur, çamur, şimşek, fırtına derken, metal hayranları gerçekten dolu dolu bir gün yaşadılar.

Biz de bu festivalde bir kaç grup ile röportaj yapma konusunda planlamalarımızı yaptık. Ve Samael grubunun frontmani Vorph ile kısa bir söyleşi gerçekleştirdik. Sahne arkasında olduğumuz için biraz gürültülü ve kısıtlı bir sohbet oldu.

Well, here I am again with my 3rd set of reviews for the year. You know I have been doing reviews since 1986 and yeah at times it does get to be a grind, but I still love doing this and it is fun discovering new bands, and if I like them enough, I reach out to them for an interview to be published on this website. I enjoy helping out the new and upcoming bands as well as the more established ones as well. There are plenty of great bands and some not-so-good ones for this round. Now remember this is my opinion only and in as many cases as possible I try to include a link to a sample song so you can judge for yourself. Keep banging that head and playing air guitar and look for set # 4 soon. Please also enjoy my interviews here I do with old bands, new bands, fanzine editors, and record labels.
