We dive into two essential phases of the Harmony Project from “Healing in Harmony Model”: Relaxation and Verbalization.
We start with the Relaxation phase, where children are guided through deep breathing and calming exercises to help them manage stress and find inner peace.
Following this, we transition to the Verbalization phase. Here, we introduced an innovative technique where the children engaged in interview-style sessions or “podcasting” with each other. Through these Q&A sessions, they were able to share their personal experiences, listen to one another’s stories, and express their emotions openly. This approach not only fostered deeper connections but also allowed the children to turn their stories into impactful music.
We are proud to have the support of @kulturicinalan and the @mcic_ca , and to execute this project in partnership with @_makemusicmatter_ and @kidsrainbow_org .
Together, we’re helping these young voices find their place in the world through the power of music.
