It all started with a one-way ticket to Bali in 2019 ✈️

I still recall sitting at my kitchen table and thinking to myself, "I gotta get out of here".

I was unhappy and stressed out about my future of just surviving in Austin.

What I now see and refer to as "The Rat Race"...

So I bought that one-way ticket to freedom and didn't look back.

After a few months in Bali, I flew to Singapore and then onward to Phuket.

This was shortly before the surreal pandemic locked down world travel.

Borders were closed, international flights canceled, and immigration policies eased.

I made the conscious decision to stick it out and stay in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Even while many of my new friends were getting cold feet and running back home.

Fortunately, one of my greatest strengths is never giving up, against all odds.

Needless to say, it wasn't always easy. Few things worth doing in life are easy.

And if I had to do all over again, I would make the exact same decision!

Living in Thailand for almost 5 years has been the most rewarding experience.

I've embarked on epic motorbike trips that in hindsight seem risky and ill-advised.

Walked on stunning beaches that most people will only get to experience once in a lifetime.

And living on a beautiful paradise island for roughly 3 years while inspiring millions of people.

It is my goal with this newsletter to inspire YOU to escape the rat race and move to Thailand.

Because at the end of the day, the only person holding you back is staring in the mirror.
