5 don’ts of a Cover Letter from a recruiter! 🤝

✅ Not personalized - Be sure to at least add the company's name or recruiter in your cover letter. 👩‍💻
✅ Copy paste from resume - You might as well not add a cover letter if you add two resumes. 🙅
✅ Wrong company name - Be sure to review your cover letter before sending it to us. If we see you meant to send it to another company we will assume that was your intention and move on. ➡️
✅ Brackets from templates not removed - Self explanatory ;)

✅ Make it all about you! - As much as we love to hear about you we would also love to hear what you can contribute to our company! 👏

"When I arrived at GTM, I first applied and worked as a Linkbuilding Specialist. So I was working with the SEO team and building links for the different websites.
After a year, I felt like I wanted to do more. I talked to Jess, my manager, about my wish to join the YouTube team. 📹

After some tests, I quickly joined a new position as a Video Product Manager that was created just for me. I am really thankful for that as I am thriving in this new position as I am growing a lot and given more and more responsibilities, such as recently, managing my own intern for my project. 👨‍💻

By working at GTM, I gained a lot of confidence in my work, as I am learning more and more everyday and given a lot of autonomy to test and try new things." 🫰
