MY NEIGHBOR REFUSED TO STOP HER KIDS FROM SPRAYING WATER GUNS OVER MY FENCE — I GAVE HER A TASTE OF HER OWN MEDICINE.
So, last November, my boyfriend and I moved into our new place. Our neighbor, Sarah, a single mom with two boys, was super welcoming at first. Fast forward to a couple of weekends ago, we were chilling in our garden on a sunny day. We could hear Sarah's kids next door, which was fine, until a jet of water suddenly splashes over the fence and hits me. Next thing I know, more water is coming over, drenching our garden furniture and plants. Our garland lights got totally ruined.
Frustrated, I popped over to talk to Sarah. I thought she'd understand, but when I explained the situation, she got defensive. She claimed I was overreacting, that kids will be kids. She said she'd tell them to stop, but she wasn't going to "police" them and called us stupid for having non-waterproof stuff outside because it was "just water." Then she just shut the door on me!
I was frozen. I couldn't say a word, but I knew I had to give her a taste of her own medicine.
So, a couple of days later, I invited all our neighbors to a garden party. When Sarah arrived, she ⬇️
