Chalo and Vell are back with Made From Moss Volume 2, the next chapter in their collaborative EP series. This four-track release dives into a spectrum of styles and tempos, each track crafted with unique rhythms and textures made for the dancefloor.

Chalo’s opener, Feeling, weaves house-inflected vocals with acid synth lines, building a steady groove that carries effortlessly to the finish. Tolerance Break follows, layering dynamic snares, tight breaks, and basslines that pulse with energy. On the B-side, Vell leads with The Ship Rolls Through, a euphoric roller balanced by flickering sound effects that keep the track grounded. Back To Normality closes the EP, leaning into progressive tones with bouncing bass lines that sizzle toward a breaking point, bringing the EP to a close.

Ayahtareek grew interested in composing music and playing musical instruments since 2021. These slowly got her drawn into the world of DJ. Her set involves mixtures of techno, breakbeat, house and psychedelic. Her dance floor philosophy would focus on flows of synthesizer, sweet chord progressions, unusual percussions, anything with quirky elements. Aleksandir, a Turkish producer and DJ influenced by his Mediterranean roots, first gained attention with his breakout hit “Yamaha” in 2018, quickly amassing international acclaim. Building on this success, he released his debut album Contrails and founded the label Artesian Sounds before immersing himself in the UK music scene. Over the years, Aleksandir has refined his sound through projects like Skin (2021), blending serene, melancholic tones with a darker, club-ready edge. His latest works, including collaborations with Eartheater and the EP HEARTH SONGS, reflect a deeper exploration of grief, freedom, and beauty. Renowned for his emotive soundscapes and dynamic performances, he continues to tour globally, sharing stages with leading names in electronic music.

Imbued with the mediterranean influences of Istanbul, Aleksandir (transliterated from his Turkish birth name) released his first project The Turtle Nipper (2017) while he was still a student. An EP that explored a laid-back, hushed strain of house music.�
Only a year later, Aleksandir released his second EP, featuring his breakout hit Yamaha. The overnight success quickly racked up millions of streams and drew support internationally from Dixon and other major names from the scene. With his project now in the limelight, Alex decided to refine his skills as a DJ. Now touring across the globe, Alex released his first album Contrails (2018) that same year; positive, naive and dreamlike in nature. Embracing the momentum, Aleksandir decided to found his label Artesian Sounds with fellow Turkish producer Emre Can Swim before moving to London.

Immersing himself in the UK music scene, he entered a particularly creative period, debuting his club night Miks with his childhood friend Supu in 2020. This culminated in the release of his sophomore album, Skin (2021). Constantly refining his skills, these projects progressively hinted at a more club-ready sound while retaining his unique sensibility for emotive and expansive soundscapes.
With his latest singles Momus/Sacro and String Game, Aleksandir celebrates a newly found inspiration and love for his craft. He continues to refine his serene, melancholic and sentimental sound, all the while sounding more unhinged and unrestrained than ever.
