Cajun Grilled Chicken with Alabama White Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Cajun Grilled Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Olive oil, for grilling
For the Alabama White Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup horseradish sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the chicken: In a small bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub the mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
Grill the chicken: Heat a grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil. Grill the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
Make the Alabama white sauce: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, horseradish sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
Serve: Slice the grilled chicken breasts and serve with the Alabama white sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Tips:
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the Cajun seasoning for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Adjust the amount of hot sauce in the Alabama white sauce to your desired level of spiciness.
Serve the chicken with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
