My Story

My first real experience in Digital Marketing was with Simply Business, Northampton in 2011. My role was the Community Manager, mainly looking after their Social Media, Online Reputation Management (ORM) and Customer Service. With training as part of the job this was my first real taste of the digital world.

After taking some time out to travel and work abroad, I decided it was time to get back into the real swing of things, and moved back to Northampton. I’ll be honest, it was a struggle re-joining the 9-5 after having that taste of freedom, so I decided to become a member of the Shaw Academy, and take every digital course I could get my hands on whilst working for Dakal Ltd assisting with graphic design, email marketing and analytics, and DP Marketing Communications, a full service creative marketing agency based in Northampton! Here I dealt with whatever our clients needed.

Having previously purchased an apartment in Spain, with my new skills and Industry contacts in tow, I felt it was time to move on again and so I did! In no time I had claimed my property back and moved back into said humble abode, where I stayed until embarking upon my new adventure in South East Asia…
