On May 1st, our Ambassador Remco van Wijngaarden welcomed the 10-day summer course "Amphibious Transformation by Design'' as part of our Orange Green Days initiative. This course brings together students from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) in Thailand and Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in Indonesia to explore the challenges of the water issue in regional, metropolitan and urban environments in relation to climate change.

The Netherlands is proud to collaborate with various countries, sharing knowledge and expertise in water management. Many thanks to all partners, including Dutch expertise from TUDelft, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, and Waterstudio for their invaluable support in making this summer course possible.

ผลงานการออกแบบ อาคารซ่อมบำรุงรถเพื่ออำนวยการด้านสาธารณสุข | The Maintenance Facility for Public Health ของ Nppn Design and Research ได้รับคัดเลือกให้ผ่านเข้ารอบสุดท้าย BlueScope Design Award 2023 โดย สมาคมสถาปนิกสยาม ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ และ BlueScope Thailand ในประเภทอาคารไม่พาณิชยกรรม (Non-Commercial Building) โดยจะมีการนำเสนอเพื่อตัดสินในรอบสุดท้ายในวันที่ 11-12 มกราคม 2567 นี้ครับ

'Hospital 34'

โครงการออกแบบโรงพยาบาลขนาด 34 เตียง จัดอยู่ในโรงพยาบาลขนาดกลาง เป็นโครงการที่ให้ความสำคัญต่อมิติความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของผู้คน การออกแบบสาธารณูปโภคแบบสากล การจัดการน้ำท่วม และอาคารที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม การออกแบบอาคารได้รับการปรับพื้นที่ให้มีความเหมาะสมเพื่อตอบสนองต่อการขยายพื้นที่ใช้สอยจากอาคารศูนย์วิจัยทางการแพทย์อาชีวเวชศาสตร์ไทย ไปพร้อมกับการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการรักษาผู้ป่วยพักฟื้น ในขณะเดียวกันตัวโครงการจำเป็นต้องลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมให้น้อยที่สุด ดังนั้น โครงการนี้จึงจำเป็นต้องได้รับการออกแบบให้มีมาตรฐานสูงสุด สำหรับการเป็นสถานที่รองรับกิจกรรมสำหรับการดูแลสุขภาพและส่งเสริมการออกแบบสุขภาพอย่างครอบคลุมในอนาคต

Hospital 34 is an exemplary project that considers well-being, universal design, flood resilience, blue-green infrastructure, and green building principles. Its design optimizes space utilization, seamlessly extends the existing building, and creates a healing environment for patients while minimizing the environmental impact. The project sets a high standard for future healthcare facilities and promotes a holistic approach to healthcare design.

Work in progress: “อาคารซ่อมบำรุง”

จากขั้นตอนการออกแบบ พัฒนาแบบสถาปัตยกรรม สู่ขั้นตอนการก่อสร้าง อาคารซ่อมบำรุงรถเพื่ออำนวยการด้านสาธารณสุข 2 ชั้น ขนาดพื้นที่รวม 812 ตารางเมตร ณ อำเภอธัญบุรี จังหวัดปทุมธานี โดยพื้นที่ภายในประกอบไปด้วยการออกแบบพื้นที่ใช้สอยเอนกประสงค์ ได้แก่ พื้นที่ซ่อมบำรุงยานยนต์ทางสาธารณสุข พื้นที่ส่วนสำนักงาน ห้องประชุม ห้อง Theater พื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนพูดคุย โดยมีจุดเด่นที่การออกแบบหลังคาแบบกึ่งเปิดบริเวณส่วนกลางของอาคารด้วยการติดตั้งหลังคาบานเกล็ด (Louvered Roof)

ขณะนี้โครงการอยู่ในระหว่างขั้นตอนการก่อสร้าง

Architectural design development process “Maintenance building”:

From the stage of Architectural design development to the construction period. The maintenance building has 2nd floors, of which a total area of 812 square meters. This building has located in Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province. The interior space contains a multi-purpose utility space design, including a maintenance area for public health vehicles, Office space, meeting room, theater room and co-working area. The courtyard has a semi-open roof design by installing a louvered roof.

Currently, the project is in the under construction process.

NPPN Company, the designer of the clubhouse project at Rangsit, shared that the main design consideration for the project was flood resilience. To achieve this, NPPN Company implemented several flood adaptation measures, such as using a high sloped roof to delay the flow of rainwater before it enters the ground.

In addition to flood resilience, NPPN Company mentioned that the curve of the building line was used to create a new approach and form for the clubhouse. This was done to enhance the visual appeal of the building and make it stand out in the surrounding area.

NPPN Company explained that the high sloped roof was an effective measure because it allows rainwater to flow quickly off the roof and into a drain, reducing the chances of flooding within the clubhouse. Additionally, NPPN Company mentioned that the use of a high sloped roof also helps to prevent damage to the building and its contents during a flood.
