I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

Variety: The Spice of Creativity

They say variety is the spice of life, and this couldn’t be truer when it comes to creativity.

When we repeat the same thing over and over, no matter how good it is, it can start to lose its spark.

Take, for example, an actress who always plays the role of a good woman. She may be loved for it, and people may appreciate her ability to portray that character, but over time, the audience will predict her every move.

The excitement fades, not because she isn’t talented, but because we crave something different. Even the actress herself may want to step into new shoes and explore different roles to grow as an artist.

This mirrors real life. When we stick to doing the same thing, especially in creative fields like content creation, it can become repetitive not only for the audience but for ourselves as well.

That's why many content creators branch out, they know they must keep evolving to keep their followers engaged. A fresh perspective can reignite interest and enthusiasm.

However, the key is balance.

Don’t lose sight of what you’re known for or what you do best.

Instead, be creative within that space.

Try new angles, introduce fresh ideas, and show different sides of yourself or your work. Touch on different aspects of your craft, but always maintain the essence that makes you, you. That’s the heart of true content creation.

In the end, it’s not about abandoning what defines you, but about expanding it and growing within your uniqueness.

We’ve all heard the classic advice: “Drink water and mind your business.”

And while it might sound like a simple life hack, trust me, there’s a reason this saying is as popular as it is. In fact, it might just be the secret recipe for a peaceful, hydrated, and drama-free life.

Let me break it down for you. When you drink water and mind your business (and yes, both parts are equally important), magic happens.

First off, that water you're sipping? It’s doing wonders for your health. Your body is basically thanking you, like, “Finally, something I can work with!” Your system starts functioning like a well-oiled machine digestion improves, toxins are flushed out, and you feel like a new person.

Now, add the “minding your business” part, and here’s where things get interesting. Your cognitive function sharpens. Yea, you can actually think clearer when you're hydrated and not worrying about other people's issues. Your brain will be so focused on your own goals, it’ll practically be on fire (in a good way, of course)!

And if that’s not enough, drinking water and staying in your lane also gives your energy levels a serious boost. You’ll be walking around feeling like you’ve unlocked a new level of productivity, ready to conquer the day whether it’s work, the gym, or just... existing.

But wait, there’s more! Did you know that drinking water and not getting involved in other people’s drama also benefits your skin? That’s right! Hydration boosts your skin’s elasticity, keeps it moisturized, and can even reduce dryness. So, not only are you glowing from the inside, but you’re also radiating peace.

Who needs the stress of someone else’s problems when you’re this busy being flawless?

And finally, let’s talk about joints. Drinking water keeps them lubricated and reduces discomfort, so if you’re out there bending over backwards for people’s drama, you might want to reconsider. Protect those joints and stay in your lane, friend.

I’m not exaggerating. Drink your water, stay in your lane, and leave the unnecessary worries behind. It’s a simple, foolproof method for a healthier mind, body, and life. Because at the end of the day, nothing beats the combination of hydration and peace of mind.

So, here’s to us all: Let’s continue to drink water and mind our business, for our health, our sanity, and our skin. Trust me, your future self will thank you.

I love taking walks, and I make sure to take one every day. A 15 to 30-minute walk always leaves me feeling light and at ease.

Yesterday, I was walking along the road with my daughter tightly tied to my back in the traditional African way of carrying a baby. As I walked, I noticed a little girl playing joyfully by herself, running around.

Ahead of me, a heavily pregnant woman had just passed by. She was chatting with some women seated in front of a house, and I guessed the little girl was her daughter. It seemed like she was running towards her mother.

Suddenly, the little girl fell, perhaps she had stumbled on a stone and she remained on the ground, crying so hard. I was the closest person, so I went over to help her.

As I helped her up, a thought came to me. Before stepping out for my walk, I had considered taking the normal route I always follow, but something nudged me to take a different route, one that also led to my destination.

At that moment, I realized that this was why God had led me down this road, to be there for this little girl when she needed help.

There is always a reason for our presence in a place, or in someone's life.

There is a reason why you enter someone's life whether to help, or to be helped.

Sometimes it's to teach a lesson, and sometimes it's to learn one.

Wherever we find ourselves, let’s strive to be good, because only time reveals the true purpose of our presence.
