TEMPTATIONS - It is not the number of temptations one is exposed to that makes him strong, but the ability to overcome even a single one that may come his way! JAMES 1 vs 12 says, Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
We naturally love doing what is wrong, because sin runs in our veins, But when we entirely depend upon Christ, we will overcome and receive the crown of life!

Dangerous Prayers - Many Christian denominations have preached about dangerous prayers, is this theory christian? No! it comes from the evil one!
Consider Mathew Chapter 5 vs 44 - 45 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Vengeance belongs to God and God alone! we must never get tired of praying for people who hurt us, the story Balak And Balaam has a great lesson God will always protect the people we hate! remember Cain after Killing Abel?

Did you know that the day you accepted to be a disciple and follower of Christ you placed yourself on the spotlight of the evil one?, the day you accepted Truth and righteousness is the day you drew the battle line with evil forces that you can't see with your physical eyes?
How then must you be able to fight these forces? here is what the Bible recommends... Ephesians 6 vs 10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [b]wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Peter the overzealous disciple of Jesus promised His Master that he would never leave him until death but here is what the bible records, Luke 22 vs 56-57 Then a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the light and looking closely at him, said, “This man also was with him.” 57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.”
Have you ever denied your faith because you wanted to protect your Job, your relationship, Your exams or anything else? it is in us humans. But when peter was transformed by God, he became a reliable Shepherd of Christ's sheep even unto death!
Today my prayer is that Christ transforms us that we may be fitted for heaven and be faithful to point of loosing earthly possessions!

*The book of Luke of all the gospels of Jesus Christ, brings out the human aspect part of Jesus' life. Luke Chapter 6 vs 12 records, 'And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.'*
*If Jesus Christ who is divine could pray, how much more do mere mortals like you and I need to pray! We are tried everyday, discouraged, disappointed, tempted and go through a lot of pain, our only safeguard then is to seek God all the time in prayer!*

Does God really have favourites? why is it that even after working so hard, praying hard and doing the very best we can we still don't get what others have?
Well the truth is we may never have everything we need here on earth even to the point of death, we will see people who don't even believe God exists have everything at their disposal yet we still remain lacking.
But here is the good news, there's a free gift God has offered to everyone of us, to both the believers and the non the believers, the rich and the poor, the elite and the forgotten, and this is the gift of salvation! you want to understand how? let's look at the thief at the cross in Luke Chapter 23.

Do you quickly at times discern the wrong your friend has done and call it sin? don't feel bad about it is in all our sinful nature to find faults in our friends than we would actually find faults within ourselves.
The Bible says in Romans 3 vs 23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Every time you see something wrong in your friend, it is a constant reminder that you might be worse. Pray to God for forgiveness of your sins and that of your friend.
Today we look at the Story of the woman caught in the act of adultery, Christ teaches us to always mend our ways before er decide to to Judge others.
