Tuesday, 4th June 2024, the popularly known queen of Afrobeats Ms Achuei Deng Ajing appointed Mr Agany Geng Ayiei famously known as Agany Malleher as new Operation Manager of AdA Enterprise Company Limited.

Mr. Agany Geng Ayiei will be the manager of ADA Enterprises Company Limited which will also be in charge of her Music Management.

He will be the one to handle all roles and responsibilities that have to do with her music management under the ADA Enterprises Company Limited.

After a successful meeting of the BCL technical committee meeting held today the 10th day of May, 2024 at the BCL office in Thongpiny, and with the consultation from the higher committee led by the BCL president Mr. Wol Dut Anguei. It was agreed that the BCL tournament will kick off on 2nd of June 2024 with Wulu county taking on Raja county.
The committee also finalized the schedule for the entire tournament, which will be shared with the public soon. The teams participating in the tournament were also confirmed, with a total of twenty two counties competing for the coveted BCL trophy.

The committee members expressed their excitement for the upcoming tournament and emphasized the importance of fair play and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
As preparations for the tournament began in earnest, fans eagerly awaited the start of what promised to be an action-packed and thrilling competition. With high expectations and anticipation building, all eyes were on Wulu county and Raja county as they prepared to kick off the BCL 2nd edition tournament on 2nd June 2024.

President Kiir returns home after launching Nairobi Peace Talks

Juba, Friday (May 10, 2024)– H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit has returned to the country after launching the Nairobi Peace Talks with the holdout groups.

Upon arrival in Juba this afternoon, Foreign Minister Ramadan Abdalla Goc said the President initiated the peace process in order to restore a comprehensive peace in South Sudan.

Goc said President Kiir reiterated his administration's determination to negotiate with the holdout groups to reach a peace deal.

During his opening address at the peace process, dubbed Tumaini Initiative, on Thursday, President Kiir appealed to South Sudanese to return home to help develop the nation and vote in the December general elections.

President Kiir departs to Nairobi for Launch of Nairobi Peace Process

JUBA, Thursday (May 9th, 2024)- H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit this morning travelled to Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the launch of the Nairobi Peace process between the government and the Hold-out groups who did not sign the 2018 peace agreement.

Press Secretary in the Office of the President, Hon. Lily Adhieu Martin Manyiel said the two heads of state will also hold bilateral meetings.

In 2020, negotiations between the government and the Non- Signatories to the Peace Agreement were mediated by the Community of Sant'Egidio in Rome.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: BCL faces controversies as the CEO and board members contradict each other

Bahr El Ghazal Counties' League is facing controversies as the petition of 2/3 majority members of the Board of Directors emerged allegedly accusing CEO Madut Anei Kuendit of the violation of the constitution on Wednesday.

They further questioned “the article that entitled him as CEO of the league, and the appointment of Wol Dut Anguei as the president of the league,” which they claimed to have been made by Chairperson [Madut] without approval from the board of directors.

They also threatened that the failure to clarify the above-mentioned charges would lead to the closure of the league.

However, this petition seems causative and controversial as CEO Madut Anei disputed it saying “It is not right! That is why they didn't indicate the names of board members. There are only 3 guys that are disturbing because they were left out in their positions: the deputy finance and the finance who were removed because of gross misconduct.”

“No board has ever sat and no 2/3 majority. They are trying to say that they don't want the league to go on, but the league is for the public not for the board,” he added.

This is not the first time Bahr El Ghazal Counties'League encountered drama this year as it started with the resignation of the former league president Victor Akech on April 5, and the request of the Twic Mayardit Football Team to withdraw on 30th April 2024.

JUST IN :Police in Juba are carrying out an operation to crack down on public motorcycle operators riding without helmets.
Boda-boda riders found without the head gear are arrested and made to pay a fine.
Police spokesperson, Maj Gen Daniel Justin says the crackdown is in line with a directive issued by the Inspector General of Police in November last year.
"You better buy a helmet for yourself," said Maj Gen Justin, "So, if you are a boda boda rider involved in in public transport, you have to buy one for yourself, and one for the passenger."

Government of Warrap State has confirmed the killings of the seven (07) young men who were accused of committing different crimes acknowledging that they were detained in a military facility that lacks ventilation without the knowledge of State Government where they died of suffocation.

The minister of information also confirmed that the governor has ordered the arrest of the officers on duty and those who committed acted this act be held accountable.

In his statement he said that they have formed Committee headed by his H.E. The governor Kuol Kuol to carry out investigations for one week.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) denies the existence of Abyei Box in the South Kiir River.

"During the negotiation between the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) and the National Congress Party (NCP), the existence of the Abyei Box in the Southern Kiir River was disputed.

However, South Sudan's Inspector General of Police, Gen. Atem Marol denied its existence and explained that the SPLM and NCP were only battling for Abyei along the Northern Part, not the Aneet and the entire area of South Kiir. So, the NCP claims only Abyei, which was administratively under their governance.

Gen. Atem Marol further clarified that South Sudan organized forces were being deployed respectively out of the Abyei disputed area.

He emphasized that the same areas where the forces of SPLA were deployed during the struggle were the spot points for the deployment of South Sudan organized forces and not inside Abyei.

He also mentioned that there was no negotiation between the NCP and SPLM in the Southern part of the River Kiir."

When I was in high school, I asked my class teacher that, how can someone choose a good woman. He smiled, and said "I want you to fall in love with someone whom if you impregnated, you ain't gonna regret". Clarification!

Warrap State Government learned that seven suspects 4 from Tonj North County and 3 suspects from Gogrial East County including two soldiers were illegally detained in military detention Container at Barpuot Brigade Four (4)in Kuajok of Division (11) yesterday on the 6th May,2024.

Unfortunately,the State Government received saddening reports that the seven arrested suspects in the Military detention container passed on due to lack of ventilation except one suspect survived out of eight suspects arrested.
The suspects were accused of different crimes and were being arrested by the military authority in wrong facility without notice from the Governor.

Swiftly,H.E Governor Kuol Muor Muor,ordered the arrest of Brigade 4 Commander,officers and NCOs in charge of Barpuot Military Barrack including those on duty during the incident.

A one week investigation committee is formed by H.E Col.Kuol Muor Muor.
The committee is headed by Warrap state police Commissioner,deputized by Warrap state Attorney General and all Warrap state security agencies are members.

Moreover, the suspects perished in the military detention not Governor’s State House Container as reported by on line media platforms.
There is no Container or detention facility in Warrap State Governor’s Residence.

On behalf of Warrap state government and on my own behalf,I would like to express my deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved one in the tragic military detention container.
Indeed,it is a great loss to the people of Tonj North,Gogrial East and Warrap State in general.

I urge for patience to the victims as investigations are underway.

𝗦𝗔𝗗: 3 dead bodies are to be dug out in the grave after being buried in the forest by forces in Warrap State without the consent of the victims’ families, a close family member of one of the victims who said his name should not be disclosed on media for security threats told Bee TV.

The 3 people are among 8 people reported to have died due to suffocation (lack of fresh air) after being confined inside a container for 5 hours today in Kuajok by the Warrap State Government.

The Government of Warrap State has not responded yet to the allegation.
