Youth Between Borders (YBB) was originated by various African youth around North America,Europe and Australia in 2007. Our hope is to contribute to the betterment of our society by having a better understanding of all the issues that impact the lives of Africa youth in the Diaspora whether in the US, Canada,Australia or Europe. We aim to reach out to African communities in North America,Europe an
d Australia to bring together youth leaders, scholars and motivators to exchange their knowledge and transform challenges into opportunities. It is estimated that about 10 million young Africans arrive on the labor market every year. The dilemma remains however, whereas youth unemployment in urban areas remains stubbornly high, sub urban and rural communities suffer from skills gap especially in education, health care and environmental protection. ICT, business skills and entrepreneurship development remains on high demand in most urban and sub urban areas.
