"When demons possessed a couple's new car!

A couple bought a car and celebrated the purchase with their family and friends. After everyone had retired to their respective homes, they went to bed.

However, around 3am, the security man drew the man's attention to a strange development - the car had turned on by itself. Initially thinking it was a joke, the man went downstairs and realized it was no laughing matter.

He had the remote key for his car, and there was no spare, just that one. How could the car have turned on? He asked this question to no one in particular. Pressing the remote, he managed to turn off the car, and they all went back to sleep.

The following night, at the exact same time, the car turned on again. This time, his wife fetched "anointing oil" and began speaking in tongues to ward off the strange occurrence, but nothing changed until the man pressed "off" on the remote, and the engine died.

The next day, which was Thursday, the wife sought help from her ministry pastor. The pastor revealed that he had seen a vision indicating that the car was under the influence of spiritual forces. He advised them to bring the car for prayers and cleansing. After the prayers and cleansing, the car still continued to start by itself at the particular time.

Feeling desperate, they decided to seek the advice of another spiritual leader. This man suggested that they sell the car, as the demons possessing it were sent to kill the owner after six months. The man started making plans to sell his beloved car, but then he had an idea to explore possibilities beyond the realm of mystery and spirituality.

He grabbed his laptop and searched for reasons why a car could start on its own. To his surprise, he discovered that the vehicle was originally designed for people who live in very cold regions. The car was programmed to power on after a specific time frame if not used, to maintain temperature balance and prevent the engine from clogging.

With this newfound knowledge, the man took his car to experts in thermostats and related areas, who reprogrammed the vehicle. The evil forces finally left, and the car stopped starting by itself."

SOME SOCIAL RULES THAT MAY HELP YOU:

1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to;

2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that borrowed you remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes.

3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner.

4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem;

5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public;

6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time;

7. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what's 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative;

8. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all;

9. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you're;

10. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you.

11. Praise publicly. Criticize privately;

12. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will;

13. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next;

14. If a colleague tells you they have a doctors' appointment, don’t ask what it’s for, just say "I hope you’re okay". Don’t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they'll do so without your inquisitiveness;

15. Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect;

16. If a person is speaking directly to you, staring at your phone is rude;

17. Never give advice until you’re asked;

18. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don’t ask them their age and salary;

19. Mind your business unless anything involves you directly - just stay out of it;

20. Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech; and

21. Never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don't talk about your children in the midst of the barren.

22. After reading a good message try to say "Thanks for the message".

APPRECIATION remains the easiest way of getting what you don't have.

The Four Igbo Market Days and Their Significance In Omenala ÌGBÒ

The Ìgbò people of the southeastern region of Nigeria have their ancestral background rooted in an age-long cultural heritage, with one of them being The Four Ìgbò Market Days. The Ìgbò market days comprise just four days embellished with business and other cultural cm religious significance.

As a people from the east – the rising sun – they are viewed as resilient and industrious. Ndi Ìgbò has suffered a series of transformations and oppressions that have had disastrous effects on the culture. But the Ìgbò culture thrives and flourishes regardless. Ndi Ìgbò, just like other ethnic groups, believes that they are God’s favorite and while that may seem like grandiosity, they have their culture to back this belief.

The Ìgbò market days safely existed in the civil old Ìgbò society long before the intrusion of the colonists. Unlike the falsehood championed by the Eurocentric literature texts rampaging the globe, Ndi Ìgbò had a working system before colonization. As a foolproof to disclaim these dishonest anti-Igbo texts, literature texts from Ndi Ìgbò would greatly aid. Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart is a great head start for anyone interested in knowing the truth about Ìgbò culture which is embedded in Igbo history.

The structure of the Ìgbò calendar is also one of the statements to nullify the continuous disparagement of the beautiful Ìgbò culture. Ndi Igbo has a different calendar from the Gregorian calendar. Surprising as it may, the custodians of the Igbo culture still maintain this calendar in their observance of the culture and traditions of our land. The following table outlines the months in the Igbo calendar:

1. Onwa Mbu
2. Onwa Abuo
3. Onwa Ife Eke
4. Onwa Ano
5. Onwa Agwu
6. Onwa Ifejioku
7. Onwa Alom Chi
8. Onwa Ilo Mmuo
9. Onwa Ana
10. Onwa Okike
11. Onwa Ajana
12. Onwa Ede Ajana
13. Onwa Uzo Alusi

As observed in the table above, there are THIRTEEN months in the Igbo calendar. The Igbos only recognize 4 days in a week, namely; Eke, Orie, Afo, and Nkwo.

This article will discuss the origin and significance of these market days extensively.

A Further Overview of The Traditional Igbo Calendar:

4 days make a week (Izu).

7 weeks make a month (Onwa)

28 days make a month

13 months make a year

91 weeks make a year

364 days make a year

The days of the Igbo calendar are referred to as Market Days because of the attachment of market activities to each day. The Igbos are widely known for being industrious, hence the coinage. But there is more about the Igbo Market Days beyond the market activities. A story of the origin of the Igbo market days will explain the ideologies behind these days. Read On!

The Origin of The Igbo Market Days

The Igbo market days were introduced into Igboland by Eze Nrijiofor during his reign in Nri (1300-1390 BCE). Nri is known as the ancestral home of Ndi Igbo. According to the legend, four strangers who pretended to be deaf and dumb visited Eze Nrijiofor. They each carried a basket. The king made several efforts to exchange greetings with them, but all his efforts were abortive. Even when he presented them with Kola nut, they still kept mum.

At night when they had gone to bed, the Eze sent a soothsayer to discover their names. The soothsayer being clever, employed a rat to disturb them. Immediately the rat started nibbling in Eke’s basket, Oye called Eke by his name and told him that a rat was trying to get into his basket. Eke woke up and ran away. The rat continued so, and within some minutes, the men had disclosed the names of one another while trying to alert the others of the presence of the rat.

The following morning, the Eze went to them with the kola nut and called them each by their names: Eke, Oye, Afo, Nkwo. With shock on their faces, they politely requested water to wash their hands and face. They ate the kola nut offered to them by the king and, in reciprocated by presenting four earthen pots to the king to keep at the front of the Nri shrine, with each of the pots facing the sun.

Eke, who was their spokesperson, introduced himself and the others as messengers from Chukwu, and said to the king that the first pot belonged to him, the second to Oye, the third to Afo, and the fourth to Nkwo. He claimed the posts were gifts from Chukwu and that the king and his people should observe these names as market days during which they should engage in buying and selling. Following these instructions, the market days became used in Igboland to count weeks, months, and years. He further instructed that their male and female children be named after them. Names such as Okeke, Nweke, Okoye, Nwoye, Okafor, Okonkwo, Ekemma, Mgbafor, Mgbeke, etc were coined. At noon, men shone like angels. The news spread throughout Igboland, and these market days have since then been observed.

From the above legend, you can see the furtherance of the supernatural link evident in every Igbo cosmology. There is always a Chukwu factor present as the precursor of the Igbo culture. What makes days sacred in Igbo ontology is the spirit related to particular days. Igbo market days are among the most sacred religious and traditional elements in Igbo cosmology. There are consequently deities worshipped on different market days. Some streams are not fetched during particular days sacred to the deity that inhabits the stream. The following section will discuss Igbo market days and their significance in some Igbo villages.

If you understand this, you'll never have problems with any Igbo person again..

Genevieve Nnaji wrote...

The Igbos have never been the problem with Nigeria or wherever they find themselves.

This is not ethnic jingoism or bigotry.

The Igbos will never foment troubles where they are
because they know that "Isi Kote Ebu, Ogbaa Ya"

They also know deep in their hearts that "Ife Onye Metalu, Obulu."

The Igbos will never kill others to live because they believe that "Ndu bu Isi" Yes, murder or "Igbu Ochu" is one of the most despicable crimes amongst the Igbos.

The Igbos believe that once you are alive, there is always a way left to succeed.

The "Igba Mbo" is perhaps the best gift of the Igboman.
Yes, the Igbos struggle to make it in life. They are industrious, assiduous & sedulous.

The Igbos also believe in helping one another. That's why you hear "Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya."

There is also no lateness in making it in life amongst the Igbos because "Ebe Onye Oso Ruru, Onye Ije Geru" and Uwa Mgbede Ka Mma" Igbo businessmen are scattered all over the world.

Wherever they are, they make their homes, building houses & gentrifying districts.

For most lgbos, "Ala bu Otu." Igbos are liberal, accommodating & very friendly to foreigners.
This is because they are themselves scattered all over the world as immigrants.

Na Lagos, Ndi Igbo n'agba oso ahia, Igbo n'ere gala na go slow, Igbo n'aru conductor, umu Igbo bu importers buru manufacturers, Igbo no into clearing and forwarding, Igbo n'esi nri, umunna n'ere motor parts, Igbo n'aru police na oru aka.

Ndi Igbo adiro selective with jobs maka na onye ruo, orie.
But the Igbos will never take your lands or countries from you.

The Igboman thinks about his native home.
Yes, you will never provide him with "akpu", bitter leaves soup, palm wine, isi ewu & other scrumptious dishes he misses at Igboland.

While living in your country or State, never you imagine the Igbo is not thinking about his village.
My friend, he does that everyday.

Where ever the Igbos ubicate, their hearts are not far from their native homes.

Stop killing the Igbos.
They will only make their money & go back to their land.
And they know how to make legitimate
money.

Yes, where you see nothing, the Igbos with their gimlet eyes see "Ego."
So when next you meet an Igboman, ask him "Nna, how far?"

If you are lucky & he had done a successful business deal, he might just take you out for lunch. Yes, the Igbos like sharing.

On the other hand, if business is low, he will tell you the normal clichés... "Obodo bu Igwe" or Ife an'eme Adiro Easy" or "Ogbogu di tight."

Look at his face closely as he laments.
You will see no signs of defeatism. Mind you, he might just be carrying 1Million naira in his pockets.
Just that the money had already been budgeted for... "Sontin...es!!!"

Daalu.

I saw this from someones wall I think it's funny oo 🤣🤣

Story Story😂😂😂😂😂
A man was dating 3 ladies and wanted to decide who to marry. He then gave them a
test.

He gave each #100,000 and observed what each did with the money.

The first one did a total make-over which
included a fancy hair style, make up and several new outfits. She then dressed up for the man and said, "I have done this to make myself more attractive to you bcoz I love u so much."
The man was impressed.

The second woman went gift shopping for the man. She bought him a new phone, a watch and very flashy clothes. As she
presented these gifts to him she said,
"I've spent all the money on you because I love
u so much."
The man was again impressed.

The third one invested the money in the stock market. She earned #400,000 and gave him back his #100,000.
She then deposited the remainder in a joint account. She told him that she wanted to secure their future bcoz she loved him so much.
Obviously, the man was very impressed.

The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money.

In the end, he married Precious his neighbor who has the biggest buttocks and brèàst 🏃🏃.

Oh! You thought he would marry the last woman abi??😂😂.

The way he shock you, na so he shock me too 🤣🤣🤣

When a plate is full with delicious meals, everyone admires it. But once that food is eaten, we call the same plate ’dirty’. So be woke and be wise.

When you’re rich and looking all nice, know that you’ll attract a lot of people who are only interested in your money.

What they show you is not necessarily love. Once your money finishes, they’ll also be gone.

So in your good times, remember to empower your siblings, wife, parents, children and the necessary family members.

Because many a time, they’ll be there for you when all your friends forsake you. Enjoy your weekend.

The tragic yet resilient story of Igbo slaves who committed mass su***de off U.S. coast in 1803
Popular known as Igbo Landing.

The stories of slave resistance, many of us know, have to do with bloodshed, violence, and destruction. But there are other acts of resistance whose stories are worth being told. Take that of ‘The Igbo Landing’ also called the Ibo Landing, Ebo Landing, or Ebos Landing. Base on how someone pronounce the name of Ụmụ Chineke (NDIGBO).

The Igbo Landing is a historic site at Dunbar Creek on St. Simons Island, Glynn County, Georgia. It is the site of one of the largest mass su***des of enslaved people in history. Historians say Igbo captives from modern-day Nigeria, purchased for an average of $100 each by slave merchants John Couper and Thomas Spalding, tarrived in Savannah, Georgia, on the slave ship the Wanderer in 1803.

The chained slaves were then reloaded and packed under the deck of a coastal vessel, the York, which would take them to St. Simons where they were to be resold. During the voyage, approximately 75 Igbo slaves rose in rebellion. They drowned their captors and caused the grounding of the ship in Dunbar Creek. The Igbo were known by planters and slave owners of the American South to be fiercely independent and more resistant to chattel slavery.

According to Professor Terri L. Snyder, “the enslaved cargo “suffered much by mismanagement,” “rose” from their confinement in the small vessel, and revolted against the crew, forcing them into the water where they drowned”. Led by their chief, the Africans then marched ashore, singing. At their chief’s direction, "the water spirit brought us. The water spirit will take us home". (Mmụọ mmiri du anyi bịa, mmụọ mmiri ga-edu anyi laa). they walked into the marshy waters of Dunbar Creek, committing mass su***de.

Roswell King, a white overseer on a nearby plantation called Pierce Butler plantation, is the first to have recorded the incident. He and another man identified only as Captain Patterson recovered thirteen bodies. The others remained missing, and some are believed to have survived the su***de episode.

For centuries, some historians have cast doubt on the event, suggesting that the entire incident was more folklore than fact. But a post-1980 research verified the accounts Roswell King and others provided at the time using “modern scientific techniques to reconstruct the episode and confirm the factual basis of the longstanding oral accounts”.

The site was designated as a holy ground by the St. Simons African American community in September 2012. The Igbo Landing is also now a part of the curriculum for coastal Georgia schools.

The Igbo Landing has come to occupy great symbolic importance in local African American folklore. The mutiny and subsequent su***de by the Igbo people have been called the first freedom march in the history of the United States and local people claim that the Landing and surrounding marshes in Dunbar Creek were haunted by the souls of the dead Igbo slaves.

There are myths of “the water walking Africans”: “Heard about the Ibo’s Landing? That’s the place where they bring the Igbos over in a slave ship and when they get here, they ain’t like it and so they all start singing and they march right down in the river to march back to Africa, but they ain’t able to get there. They gets drown,” one Floyd White, an elderly African-American interviewed by the Federal Writers Project in the 1930s, said.

There is also the “myth of the Flying Africans” where people report that the Igbos flew to Africa. Wallace Quarterman, an African-American born in 1844 who was interviewed in 1930 about the Igbo Landing said, “Ain’t you heard about them? Well, at that time Mr. Blue he was the overseer and . . . Mr. Blue he go down one morning with a long whip for to whip them good. . . . Anyway, he whipped them good and they got together and stuck that hoe in the field and then . . . rose up in the sky and turned themselves into buzzards and flew right back to Africa. . . . Everybody knows about them”.

So powerful is this story of resistance that it is often referred to in African American literature. Writer Alex Haley recounts it in his high acclaimed book, Roots, and it was the basis for Nobel laureate, Toni Morrison’s, novel, Song of Solomon. Visual artists have also paid tribute to the Igbos who endured this event. Below is Jamaican artist, Donovan Nelson’s illustrations paying tribute to the event. They are on display at the Valentine Museum of Art.

Contemporary artists like Beyonce have also depicted and paid homage to the Igbo Landing in their work. In the recent wildly acclaimed Marvel comic film, Black Panther, Killmonger, played by actor Michael B Jordan, refers to this event, saying, “Bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped from ships, ’cause they knew death was better than bondage”.

“i'm not evil” — Business woman pleads, after client caught her with charms in a hotel room

A suspected hoøker has been captured pleading for leniency after her client caught her with charms while making out in a hotel room.

According to her explanation, she was not for evil as the charms were meant to protect her from the dangers of the street that she is involved in.

On the other hand, the client and his associates accused her of using the charms as “Kayanmata” to hypnotize men, in order to drain them financially and take away their destinies.

The client also showed off a toilet roll allegedly stained with his s3men but she claimed that she uses it to wipe herself.

Jesus Was Not A Christian, Never Founded Christianity — Former Evangelical Pastor, Jim Palmer

"Jesus was not a Christian. He is not the founder of Christianity. Jesus never encouraged people to worship him. Christianity is a religion created in the name of Jesus, and is much different from the actual truth that Jesus taught and lived.

Were Jesus alive today, he would not be a Christian. Jesus is still one of best-kept secrets because his truth has been grossly distorted by those who claim to speak for him. There is a religion-free Jesus who belongs to all of humankind. Christianity does not own or have first rights to Jesus. His truth has universal significance.

It's a mistake to make Jesus a religious figure or front man for Christianity. You have to disentangle Jesus from what you heard at church to find the truth he said would set you free."

As Aguba has refused to marry any woman from Nigeria.
I am hereby transferring the gifts to the girls.
Any man that marries both of them, I will support their wedding and also send them and their husbands for honeymoon in Dubai.
But wedding must take place in Port Harcourt and marriage committee will follow them to their villages to confirm if the wedding is real or scam.
After their wedding each of them shall be given large some of money to start business.
I have informed authorities, that they are to stay clear from OPM free estate. No more causing nuisance in OPM estate.
