The Management of Amzas Radio FM 96.9 - Makeni regrets to announce the death of its owner, Proprietor and CEO, Alhaji Mohamed Issa Amzas Koroma which sad event took place on Sunday 26th November 2023 in the United States.
Alhaji Amzas Koroma commonly called Pa Amzas, was a determined, focused, goal driven, result oriented, unassuming, reassuring and philanthropic character who set the foundation of tourism including tile factory in the north. His long standing business experience and the investments established particularly radio and the Hotel had influenced and motivated a lot of young entrepreneurs and professionals across the country. He was indeed a good exemplar and a role model. He was loved by young and old and his Passion for entrepreneurship till his death was extraordinary. He was a topnotch and more important was his unending Passion to see his innovations and investments contribute to serving humanity. He was a pioneer of hotel and tourism facilities and the founder of the first commercial and private radio station in the region. His demise is a great reduction of the strength of entrepreneurship in Makeni city.
