He is Augustine Kandeh Lakom Turay Jr., popularly known as Augustine Jay Tee, spent his primary school years at the EBK University Practicing School, where he was a member of the school choir and dancing group. His junior secondary education took place at the Sierra Leone Muslim Congress, where he participated in the school drama group. He then attended St. Francis Senior Secondary School, where he was a founding member of the school brass band.
Augustine pursued his Higher Teachers Certificate in Political Science at EBKUST and earned his B.A. in Development Studies from UNIMAK.
Augustine Jay Tee is a teacher, entrepreneur, social worker, and entertainer. He began his music career in 2009 with his childhood friend, Caribbean Wolf (Simple 2), establishing Jada Xul Ent in 2010 and launching the "NA 4U" album.
He released his first single in 2012 and his debut solo album, "Money, Power, and Respect," in 2014. In 2016, he secured a deal with WAF ENT, leading to the release of the "BELLA GBAINKAY" album in 2017.
Augustine Jay Tee has performed at numerous shows and concerts from 2018 to 2020 and introduced the Genesis EP in 2021. In 2023, he established the Jada Xul Bar and Relaxation.
Augustine Jay Tee, known for his passion and talent in music, will launch the "Genesis" album on
April 27th, 2024, Independence Day.
