I don’t believe this to 💯, so I call it a rumour;

❗️Deco's words before meeting with a players' agent: “I am the poorest (money) sporting director in Europe.”

❗️In the summer of 2023 Laporta had promised Deco that they would return to the 1:1 rule and economic normality. Deco trusted the president, but still nothing has changed.

• Deco had bad luck with departures, he had sales planned that could not happen.

❗️Deco feels he doesn't have the weapons to convince players who also have interest from other clubs. With Güler he had to compete with Madrid. He lost the battle because Florentino put in more money. With Bergvall he had to compete with Tottenham. He lost the battle because he didn't have the financial weapons to convince him either.

❗️Some of the examples Deco has had to deal with the board:

- Don't sign this player because he is not represented by ‘a friendly agent’.

- Trying to promote this player rom La Masia because Laporta is a friend of his father.
