Individual and Society /Človek a spoločnosť/ is an online peer-reviewed open access journal. Individual and Society [Človek a spoločnosť] is an online peer-reviewed open access journal. It publishes original articles in the English language that focus mainly on psychological and historical sciences and their interdisciplinary overlaps. Articles published in the journal are mostly oriented towards

the region of central Europe. The journal´s long-term ambition is to provide a platform for interdisciplinary research focused on people, in order to overcome boundaries between social and human sciences. This goal is achieved by a psychological perspective on processes and activities that are performed by a people in a historical context. The stated intention correspondents with scientific priorities of publishing institution – the Institute of Social Sciences CSPS SAS. The journal provides a platform for theoretical and empirical studies based on various theoretical concepts and methodological preferences (qualitative, quantitative, mixed design) providing their results are based on strictly scientific and methodologically robust methods. Aside from original theoretical and research studies, the journal publishes materials, review studies, discussion contributions to contemporary topics, analytical reviews, annotations of publications and current information from science events.
