Traco Systems recorded significant success with its presentation of current technological developments at the prestigious broadcast conference ABEX 2024 in Mikulov👋We introduced the latest innovations from brands we represent, such as Avid and Vizrt.

Additionally, we showcased our own development of broadcast applications TracoApps, which we have integrated into networks such as TA3, TV Nova, and CNN Prima NEWS, as well as our global installations in ITV, SKY, AtresMedia, Al Jazeera, Al Araby, and many others.

At the ABEX 2024 conference in Mikulov, a significant event for broadcasting, Traco Systems will present the latest technological innovations👌ABEX annually provides us with an excellent opportunity to showcase our new products to clients, partners, and the professional community. As representatives of Avid and Vizrt in the Czech and Slovak markets, we will introduce the latest products and technologies from our partners including ADA Avid assistant with artificial intelligence, Avid MediaCentral | Acquire, and Avid | Stream IO. From the Vizrt portfolio, we will show you Viz Virtual Studio Go and the most complex cloud HTML5 platform for graphics, Viz Flowics.

Additionally, we will demonstrate our own development of TracoApps applications, such as Traco AI, which enables face recognition, speech-to-text conversion, automatic subtitling, translations, and object and scene detection. TracoApps are used in the news television TA3, on CNN Prima NEWS, and we have recently integrated them into Al Jazeera television.

The current change in media legislation defines new rules for multimodal broadcasting and increases the percentage of broadcasting with closed captions for hearing-impaired viewers. Television companies are required, through an Action Plan, to subtitle or provide sign language interpretation for at least 25% of all broadcast programs by the end of 2026, which naturally represents a significant financial and logistical burden for broadcasters.

Thanks to the specially developed Traco AI application👍which includes a live captioning module, Televízia TA3 can offer closed captions available to viewers across all broadcasting platforms.

Televízia TA3 plans to use the Traco AI application for closed captions not only in broadcasting but also for archived content available on its web portal. In addition, TA3 plans to integrate Traco AI into the production of news content through the Avid MediaCentral Cloud UX platform. This is similar to how TV Prima and CNN Prima News use the Traco AI application daily for facial recognition, speech-to-text, translations, and object and scene detection.

Thanks to Traco AI, Televízia TA3 has gained an efficient tool that significantly improves all phases of its production process.

Slovak news television TA3 has successfully resolved the issue with legislative requirements for an increased share of content accessible to hearing-impaired viewers through hidden subtitles. This was achieved with the help of the specially developed Traco AI application👍into which a module for live hidden subtitles was implemented.

From now on, TA3 television can offer hidden subtitles available via DVB-T, satellite, and cable operators. The solution is tailor-made for TA3, including the encoding of the subtitle transport stream and testing.

TA3 plans to use Traco AI for hidden subtitles also for the archive available on its web portal. It also plans to use Traco AI in the production of news content in Avid MediaCentral Cloud UX, similarly to how TV Prima and CNN Prima News daily use the Traco AI application for face recognition, speech to text, translations, and object and scene detection.

By using the Traco AI application, TA3 television gains a very effective tool for all production processes.

Great experience at the TriCaster Vectar Masterclass in London!👍Recently, we had the honor of being part of an exclusive Vizrt Masterclass in the iconic SOHO in London, focused on Tricaster Vectar.

The workshop was led by specialists from Vizrt - Jon Raidel, a global leader in cloud live production with extensive experience in the NFL and NBA, and Dave Lanton, a senior broadcast architect.
