Po razstavi v Galeriji Jakopič - ostane pisana beseda :).

Intervju s Susan Meiselas (Iza Pevec).

"Zanimalo me je dokumentirati nepredvidljivi proces revolucije, in to najbolje, kot zmorem. Bila sem na ulici, v trenutku. Glede življenja podobe na steni – na razstavi pokažem kontaktno kopijo črno-belega filma, ko sem zamudila trenutek, saj sem fotografirala z dvema fotoaparatoma, na barvnem filmu pa sem ujela pravi trenutek. To odpira pot pomembnim vprašanjem, specifično fotografskim, o zajetju trenutka, o fotografiji pred tem trenutkom in po njem. Ne glede na to, kaj nameravate, lahko zamudite pravi čas. Ko razmišljam o partikularnem, ne gre le za gesto, čeprav sem v tistem trenutku ujela le gesto in nisem poznala moškega. Deset let pozneje sem ga poiskala in spoznala, med vojno to ni bilo mogoče."

Gre za prizmo, ki v središče ne postavlja več avtorja, temveč odnose med fotografi in subjekti, fotografi in občinstvom ter skupnostmi.

[KNJIŽNA NOVOST] Kako daleč so ljudje od živali - celo od "vampirskega lignja iz pekla"? Znanstvenik, filozof in provokator Vilém Flusser uporabi to vprašanje kot odskočno desko, da se potopi v dobesedni in filozofski ocean. Vampyroteuthis Infernalis, ki je deloma znanstveni traktat, deloma potegavščina, deloma filozofski diskurz, deloma pravljica, ponuja edinstveno posthumanistično razumevanje fenomenologije in odpira pot novim pristopom k filozofiji.

Postmoderna filozofsko – kulturna fikcija, ki jo je Flusser napisal skupaj s prijateljem Louisom Becom, odslej tudi v odličnem slovenskem prevodu Mihe Mareka.

Revija Fotoantika vse, ki vas zanima problematika zgodovine fotografije in fotografskih zapuščin, vabi k prijavi prispevkov za letošnjo izdajo revije. Rok za oddajo je 11. april 2023.

Revija Fotoantika je namenjena objavi strokovnih prispevkov s področja teorije in zgodovine fotografije. Izhaja enkrat letno od leta 1979 in je večdisciplinarna. Izzide predvidoma v začetku junija (v času prireditve Fotoantika, ki jo organizira Društvo fotografov Slovenije). Tematsko je razdeljena na več vsebinskih sklopov z osrednjim tematskim sklopom o zgodovini (slovenske) fotografije. V njej so obravnavani tudi teoretični pogledi na fotografijo, delovanja ustanov, galerij in društev, neobjavljene in obujene fotoreportaže, prispevki o fotografski opremi, recenzije in intervjuji.

Prispevke je potrebno oddati v elektronski obliki na [email protected]. Po prejemu jih pregleda uredniški odbor.

The Kranj Foto Fest invites photographers from all over the world to submit photo stories on the theme of »HOME: a State of Transition« to be exhibited in Kranj this summer.

The jury, formed by Henri Badaröh (Foam Magazine), Barbara Čeferin (Galerija Fotografija), Ziyah Gafic (VII Photo Agency), Ciril Jazbec (National Geographic), Giuseppe Oliverio (PHmuseum), Veronica Sanchis (Foto-Féminas) and Fernanda Prado Verčič (Kranj Foto Fest), will select projects that have a strong discourse on this so crucial and current subject.

➟ ONE WINNER will have a solo exhibition in the festival’s program and many others will be part of group shows all around the town.

"Danes ima fotografija novo življenje. Vpeta je v transmedialnost in transdisciplinarnost. Fotografija je izgubila nosilec. Nima več negativa. Danes v času interneta in pametnih telefonov je postala običajno sredstvo komuniciranja in se približuje pisni in govorni besedi, ki jo pogosto nadomešča. Fotografija se je iz stabilnega, otipljivega, edinstvenega predmeta preoblikovala v instantni, efemerni in virtualni objekt."

"Celoten projekt tudi precej bolj nagovarja k pedagoškim razčlenitvam kot estetskim ocenam. Njegova umetniškost je še najbolj razvidna v tem, da je bilo delavnice sploh možno izpeljati; da je pri vstopu v šolo simbolni status umetnice omogočil neke vrste alibi. Ni namreč zanemarljivo, da so se delavnice na željo Annette Krauss odvijale med rednim poukom, vzporedno s preostalimi pomembnimi predmeti – Prikriti kurikulum se mora dogajati med »prime time« poukom ali pa se ne bo zgodil."
