On air this week where I have the pleasure of speaking with two expert trainers who spent a week on the island, providing crucial dangerous cargo on Aircraft training for all 57 dedicated staff at the St Helena Airport.
This training has been invaluable, equipping our team with essential skills to perform their jobs with even greater efficiency and safety.
In addition, I’ll be discussing with Minister Ellick and Derek Henry the much-anticipated move of all cargo operations from the main Wharf to the new modern facilities at Rupert’s Valley. While we're targeting March 2025 for the big move, no firm date has been set yet—but the vision for an upgraded operation is in motion!
