Aroya Cruises' newest ship embarked on her inaugural cruise on 16 Dec 2024 in the Middle East! After completing a multi-million renovation in Bremerhaven and a dry dock in Netherlands, she arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to start her Arabian career.

Formerly Dream Cruises' , she was bought by Cruise Saudi in an auction after a two-year lay-up. She was given the placeholder name Manara, then re-named to Aroya.

Most of the Asian elements and the iconic three-deck Casino that were on World Dream were removed completely and the ship was redesigned to a Middle Eastern Theme to suit the region where she sails from.

Homeporting from Jeddah, Aroya sails 3 to 7 night cruises to Sharm El Sheikh, Aqaba(Petra) and to their Private Island (Saba Beach)

Take a tour onboard Royal Caribbean International Freedom Class !

Build in Meyer Turku, Finland and launched in 2008 weighing in at 150,047GT, Independence Of The Seas along with her sisters was the Largest Cruise Ship during that time. She holds a special place in one of our hearts being the first cruise ship that our admin took that started our love of cruising.

With open decks that aren’t obstructed by lifeboats to the Royal Promenade, a 3 tier dining room, ice skating ring, a broadway show among many others and a suite/crown lounge with vast views, it’s no wonder she was love by many!

Independence Of The Seas currently cruises from Miami to the Caribbean but will reposition to Southampton next year in 2025 for her European Season. She will head back to Miami after that before sailing from Cape Liberty in 2026.

Royal Caribbean International will be arriving in Penang, Malaysia shortly as part of her 5 night New Year Cruise!

Here are some photos of her in Penang, Malaysia and Anthem Of The Seas will be dock right at the heart of the UNESCO Heritage City Of George Town At Swettenham Pier! Grab and taxis and tours are also available at the terminal with ferries to Butterworth!

Guests heading out can visit many of the tourist attractions such as Kek Lok Si Temple, Clan Jetties, Cheong Fatt Tze or take the funicular up Penang hill!

Foodies can sample and enjoy a wide variety of local food such as Penang Laksa, Chendol, Char kway teow and bring home snacks such as Keropok or Tau Sar Piah!

Whatever you choose to do in Penang, we hope you enjoy your visit!

Check Out Princess Cruises as she sails away from Sydney Harbour on her cruise to New Zealand from ashore and onboard!

The Sailaway Dance Party onboard is usually held on the pool deck but in rainy weather, it might be in the Piazza!

It takes about 30 to 40mins before Royal Princess disembarks the pilot and sails into the Tasman Sea so do take note of your dining timings should you want to watch the spectacular sail away!

Big and Bigger! Are larger ships better?

Here are some photos of the biggest ship across different cruise lines compared to the smaller ships of the previous eras. With these megaships like Icon of the Seas carrying more than 7,000 guests, some may say these ships are too big to sail on. Though, they are usually packed with the latest design and entertainment innovations in the industry, enhancing your cruise vacation experience along the way, while smaller ships have accessibility to more ports, relaxed atmosphere, easier embarking/disembarking etc...

STAR SCORPIO ITINERARY, DECK PLANS AND STATEROOM ANNOUNCED!

Resorts World Cruises recently announced their acquisition of the current P&O Cruises Australia , and would rename the ship to , to be operating 3- to 5-Night sailings from homeports in Southeast Asia.

Find her exciting itineraries and staterooms on offer, along with her deck plans here!

She will set sail on her maiden voyage with Resorts World Cruises on 26 March 2025, and bookings open on 10 January 2025.

Disney Cruise Line departing Sydney, Australia on 21 December 2024 for a 3 Night Disney Magic At Sea Cruise to Eden, Australia!

As she was berthed at White Bay Cruise Terminal, she had to sail under the Sydney Harbour Bridge!

With Disney Adventure arriving in Singapore only in December 2025, the nearest Disney ship from Singapore you can enjoy for now is the Disney Wonder! She currently sails from Sydney but will reposition to Melbourne in January.

RESORTS WORLD CRUISES ANNOUNCES THIRD SHIP IN FLEET!

Resorts World Cruises just announced a new ship will be joining their fleet! The Star Scorpio, the current Pacific Explorer, will be homeporting from Singapore starting in 26 March 2025.

For her maiden voyage, she will depart from the Singapore Cruise
Centre (SCC) on 26 March 2025 with a series of voyages that will continue until 21 July 2025.

Star Scorpio will sail to many popular destinations, including to Jakarta and Medan in Indonesia, Melaka and Pulau Redang in Malaysia, Bangkok and Ko Samui in Thailand and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

She will operate 3-, 4- and 5-Night cruises from Singapore, and the vessel will undergo a US$50 million renovation and upgrade in Singapore after the transfer from P&O Cruises Australia.

Princess Cruises has almost completed her 14 Night round-trip cruise to New Zealand from Sydney, Australia that departed on 7 Dec 2024!

Throughout the voyage, we visited many spectacular ports in New Zealand, visiting both the North & South Island as we immerse the culture, food and scenery, not forgetting the friendliness of the locals who welcomed us at every port!

We visited Bay Of Islands, Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch (Lyttelton) , Dunedin and Fiordland National Park.

Today we are Counting Down to the Day Disney Cruise Line Biggest Ship as set sail on her Inaugural Voyage from Singapore on 15 Dec 2025!

Also in other Disney News in Singapore; For the first time ever, Mickey and Minnie Mouse was unveiling with their brand-new outfits inspired by Singapore, the Garden City.

The new outfits feature elements of Singapore's National Flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim.

Hopefully, we will see Mickey & Minnie in their brand new outfits onboard the Disney Adventure!

Welcome Onboard Princess Cruises !

We will be sailing on a 14 Night Cruise to New Zealand from Sydney, Australia.

Check-in at The Overseas Passenger Terminal was quick and easy, and we completed immigration before boarding the ship. The process was guided by the friendly staffs from the ship and terminal.

We took a quick look around the ship after we boarded to familiarise ourselves with the Royal Princess!

We will be sharing more of what Royal Princess has to offer as she sets sail to the high seas!

Early morning arrival as Royal Caribbean International sailed into Miami as she prepares to embark new guests for her round trip cruise to the Caribbean!

Allure Of The Seas currently homeports in Miami sailing 3 to 4 night cruises to Perfect Day at Coco Cay & Nassau, Bahamas. She is set to be Royal Amplified after her Transatlantic crossing to Barcelona next year in Feb 2025.

Norwegian Cruise Line has completed her drydock in France and is on the way back to Southampton, England for her transatlantic crossing to Miami, USA where she will begin her caribbean season.

One update to NCL Encore is the removal of part of the observation lounge into more cabins like her sister Norwegian Joy. According to a news report, several parts of the upgrades will not be ready in time for the crossing but will be available once she reaches Miami.

According to a press release by the Oriental Land Company which runs the Disney Parks in Japan, the new Disney Cruise Line ship that will be sailing in Japan will be home-ported from the Port Of Tokyo!

The ship will be based off the existing Wish-Class and construction of the ship will start in OLC’s Fiscal Year 2025 at the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany with the aim of launching it in 2028!

A partnership was also signed with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to cooperate on related initiatives and to use Tokyo Port as its major base for its Japan Cruise Business!

Disney Cruise Line Reveals Spaces and Experiences Coming to the Disney Adventure, Setting Sail on December 15, 2025 The #DisneyAdventure will house a one-of-a-kind adventure zone on the high seas.
