Craving for Singapore Nasi Lemak in Vancouver. No choice but to improvise and home cooked it. No chicken wings, replace with spring onions chicken, salmon steak. Of course home cooked ikan bilis and the Singapore nasi lemak chilli paste from T&T matched the plate with an egg!

Avocado unsweetened soya milk shake with macadamia nut, slice of chocolate, walnut and chia seeds, top with crushed peanut. An acquired taste replacement meal. Not for the sweet tooth individual.

Good thing that Health Promotion Board begins to promote Low carb diet plan. However, fruits still contain fructose. I will still recommend eating fruits in moderation. Especially fruit juices. Many will think that since fruits are good, fresh fruit juices should be fine too. However, if we were to eat real fruits, how many slices can we eat? How many fruits will a glass of fruit juices contain? Fructose can only be metabolized by the liver, thus it will instantly turn into fat. Moreover, the fibre from the fruits are extracted out. We are mainly drinking sugar water!

好消息是健康促进委员会开始推广低碳水化合物饮食计划。然而，水果仍然含有果糖。我仍然建议适量吃水果。尤其是果汁。许多人会认为，既然水果很好，果汁也应该没问题。但是，如果我们要吃真正的水果，我们可以吃几片？一杯果汁含有多少水果？果糖只能由肝脏代谢，因此会立即转化为脂肪。

此外，水果中的纤维被提取出来。我们主要是喝糖水！

This freshly “made on the spot” char siew cheong fan at AMK industrial Park is very good. I don’t usually recommended carbs in my post. But this is authentic . Worth to try on cheatday if you are on IF.
