Dear friends and followers,

I have just created a new page on behalf of the family of the late Darrel Phee. The 28-year-old Singaporean's life came to a tragic end on 9th August 2023 when he was climbing Mt Kilimanjaro 5895m, the highest peak on the continent of Africa.

I have launched the page with a video recounting events leading to the tragedy. Please watch and share that video. On 9th August 2024, we shall inaugurate Mountain Awareness Day to memorialise Derrel. At 1400, I will be going live on the new page with Darrel's mother, Madeline. I will try to answer questions about trip itinerary and acute mountain sickness while Madeline will deal with some of the challenges faced when claiming from insurance companies. We have valuable information to share if you or your family members have taken an interest in high altitude adventures which can be safe if managed properly.

It's not a new topic, but it's a subject that has fascinated me for a while. Brainwashing. The mortality rate for American POWs in North Korean/Chinese captivity was a whopping 38%. The death rate for Chinese and North Korean POWs captured by the US was only 2%. It's more than obvious who was treated better. When American POWs were released, 21 of them wanted to remain in China even though the majority of Chinese POWs asked to be sent to Taiwan.

While they did not succeed with the majority of Americans, it's still fascinating how they managed to get these 21 individuals on their side without the money to recruit 洋五毛 like now.

It's a sunny morning here in Singapore. Hi guys, this is Matilda again. I'm a 20-year-old who had just graduated from a polytechnic a year ago I work in the hotel industry which turned out to be a lot less exciting than I had imagined..

I don't have to go to work today because I've just fired my boss. Unlike most people my age, I don't enjoy mobile games. So I decided to take a walk in the park this morning in my new pink outfit. What do you think of it?

I love to travel, especially to warm, sunny places with beautiful beaches. Bali is my favourite destination because that's the only place with beautiful beaches that I can afford to travel to at the moment. 😆

I'm also different in that I don't like to take pictures of food. I like to have pictures taken of me. It's all about me! Sounds familiar? 😁 My ex-boyfriend Kevin used to take such nice pictures of me but all that is in the past and I need to get used to being alone. That's all for now. More updates coming up soon.
