Founded by Jason Chan and Christian Lee in 2009, BananaMana Films started as an online video marketing company specializing in video SEO. We quickly pivoted to creating narrative dramas for corporate branding. Following the success of several short films which were finalists in National and International film festivals BananaMana Films was commissioned to write and produce a 13 episode drama for T

oggle.sg and Mediacorp Ch5. "What Do Men Want?" will air in August 2014 but has already been officially selected for competition by one of the world's most renowned online drama serial festivals: LA WEB SERIES FESTIVAL 2014. BananaMana Films is currently developing 2 feature films a TV drama series and a web series. We are constantly looking for interns willing to learn and passionate about film making - do contact us if you're interested! Our Story

Founded by Jason Chan and Christian Lee in 2012 BananaMana Films specialises in creating aspirational Asian content in English for global distribution. Our most prominent drama Perfect Girl won 7 awards and 17 nominations internationally and became the first Singapore drama to be picked up by Netflix and Korea’s Naver TVcast.

Our latest film Jimami Tofu won the Audience Choice Award for Best Narrative Film at the Hawaii International Film Festival in 2017 and sold out its screenings across 4 International film festivals (San Francisco, LA, Okinawa and Hawaii). It is set for theatrical distribution in Taiwan, Singapore and Japan - and has TV and internet distribution set for China later this year.

We continue to strive to create strong sophisticated Asian dramas in English with potential to sell internationally.
