When hearing the term " ," many might picture a clinical, perhaps even hospital-like ambience.

However, our visit and photoshoot at HoviClub Orchard at Camden Medical Center completely transformed our perspective and dispelled any stigma around elder daycare facilities.

Hovi Club Orchard feels more like a lively than a traditional daycare center. The space is bright, welcoming, and filled with life, with beautiful views of the city that add to the uplifting atmosphere.

Led by Director Jared Lim and Centre Manager Beatrice, the team of passionate, cheerful professionals clearly love what they do, creating a warm and supportive environment❤️

It was inspiring to see the beneficiaries, each with their own unique story, fully engaged and enjoying the personalized programs that Hovi has thoughtfully designed.

A defining feature of Hovi’s approach is its foundation in the Finger Method, inspired by the Finnish study (FINGER). This approach incorporates 5 core principles of , scientifically proven to help delay in older adults.

While some of the beneficiaries do face challenges like cognitive impairment, our experience highlighted the importance of not defining individuals by their conditions.

What truly stood out was the joy evident in the beneficiaries - their laughter, the connections they shared with each other, and the compassionate, professional support from the staff.

Our visit was a powerful reminder that every person, regardless of age or ability, deserves to be seen for who they are, not the challenges they face.
