Mr Rick Smith & Mr Richard Jackson.
Rick Smith is the well known professional musician , who is famous as a member of Chromazone (Harry’s bar in house band) & Bali Lounge (Indonesia jazz band).
Bali Lounge consisted of six multinational jazz players: Rick Smith, Brune Le Flanchec, Nicolas Rastoul, Lewis Pragasam, Tompi and Harry Toledo. The hit single Something’s Wrong from their first eponymous album became a radio hit in 2004.
A couple of years later they produced the second album Bali Lounge 2, which was heavier with pop style. There were changes in the band , and joining them are pianist Alvin Loebis, and many other guest artists including singer Iwan Abdie and simakDialog’s member Djalu D Pratidina, introducing ethnical flute and percussion to the band’s music elements.
Jazz singer Richard Jackson is a well-loved member of the Singapore Jazz community. His debut CD “The Essential Richard Jackson” has allowed him to perform all over the world and brought him to Singapore in 2008. Hailing from Cincinnati Ohio, he has lived in Singapore since then and become an integral part of both the local and regional scenes.
His smooth vocals and steady stage presence has won the hearts of international audiences. Richard was also a featured artiste at the Singtel Singapore F1 Grand Prix Inaugural Night Race in September 2008, and performed as part of the Singapore Arts Festival May 2009 to rave reviews.

Official Ambassador
We are proud to present one of the official ambassadors for Side A , A Singapore Record Show
UK super producer, Configa .
He obtained his PhD, where he wrote his Doctoral thesis on the intersection of hip-hop culture and ethnicity - exploring the hip-hop scene in his home region.
Excerpts from Medium Magazine, “The most important place, though is from your gut. The love and passion you have for something will always outweigh everything else. Don’t get me wrong, skill, practice, and ability are needed. Passion and love though, that’s inherent. You cannot rise to the top of your profession without it.”
Hip-hop artist and producer Configa has all of the above.
He had co executive produced , most notably Hip Hop Legends and Grammy Winners Arrested Development albums such as Don’t Fight Your Demons( which Mosta Records had the honour to release it on vinyl) , For The FKN Love and Bullets In The Chamber.
He had worked with such artists such as Chuck D and Speech.
He is such an accomplished producer in his field and there’s even more to come .

Our next music guest is a very talented soul .
Redwan Hamzah is a composer, singer/songwriter, musician and educator. @redwanhamzah
Interfacing with different disciplines, he has composed for dance, theatre and film: works include Dock 65, Hypnagogia, Civil Twilight, Eudaimonia, In Parallel, Body History: III, Streams Where Deer Drink (Sigma Contemporary Dance), Stolen Dance (Translucent Bodies) and Sunny (Viddsee). He has also performed in an improvisatory context for various shows, most recently Unsound Bodies and Weaving Worlds (Esplanade).
He writes and performs guitar with the likes of Sezairi, Tim De Cotta, Taufik Batisah, Imran Ajmain and Aeriqah, gracing stages such as ASEAN-IMF (India-Seher), Laneway, Baybeats, SingJazz etc.
Currently a resident artist at National Gallery Singapore, his work blends synthetic and organic sounds in search of magic between familiarity and fantasy.
