Spring Forest Studio possesses a skilled team in live teleportation technology. The studio is connected to the internet through SingTel and StarHub, with an instant failover router. We have a server hosting plan that offers lower latency and increased reliability with a static public IP address. The guest room provides a comfortable environment for the speaker to relax and prepare before their session. Multiple monitors allow the speaker to view the audience from various angles. A 4K camera signal ensures crisp and clear image quality. The digital microphone system includes AI noise cancellation to minimize sound interference. The stream is transmitted via SRT, guaranteeing a stable connection and high quality. At the conference room in the Netherlands, the feed is displayed on a large LED wall at full size. We utilized Unreal Engine to create a virtual set that mirrors the actual stage, creating the illusion that the physical stage extends into the LED wall. The image on the LED wall, blending the virtual and real worlds, gives the impression that the speaker is physically present on stage. This approach delivers superior quality and allows for the integration of augmented reality to enhance production value. Unlike holograms, this method avoids issues related to lighting and offers significantly higher clarity. The event was a huge success without any glitch thanks to both teams in Singapore and Netherlands.

The greatest challenge in this production is that we need to track the emcee as she walked from one side of the virtual studio to the other end. This is possible using a PTZ camera with freeD protocol for tracking. Our studio is equiped with 3 ptz tracked cameras. Great for such a immersive production. Hey there! So, this past weekend was quite a whirlwind for me and my team. We were super busy making sure everything went smoothly for this amazing conference. And get this, we actually put it all together in my very own studio! We made sure to equip it with Unreal Engine and set up 6 cameras to give everyone an immersive experience. Can you believe it? But you know what the real challenge was? Dealing with not just 20 speakers, but also coordinating with remote speakers. It was quite the task, but we managed to pull it off!

Out of sight, out of mind. In a global live streaming event, the process that gets over looked most of not all the time is the internet access. Most people take it for granted. In this global live streaming event, we need to send and receive a direct feed from New York. We used SRT protocol for its short latency and high quality. However we also need a plan B, we used webrtc for both return feed. On the infra, we avoided the client’s office broadband. The bandwidth is shared and there is no quality management over it. We use a enterprise router with load balancing and M2M SIM cards from Singtel and StarHub. This is where we differentiate ourselves from amateurs.
