We tried our best to capture the breathtaking beauty and serene elegance of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the largest mosque in UAE. It was a truly majestic view in person, it was so pristine that it actually felt like we were in heaven, with its pure white exterior, marble so perfectly polished you could use it as a mirror, and the courtyard adorned with the largest most intricate mosaic in the world.

The Buddhist Treasure of Phuket — standing at 45 metres tall and covered in Burmese white marble. It was an insanely majestic view, even from the car as we were approaching the hill it sits atop. It almost felt like it was watching over Phuket, like a warden protecting the land.

“What I like the most about photography is its ability to capture a moment. It’s the ability to stop time, because sometimes moments can get too big for us. We get scared and we run, we fold, we do the wrong thing, we say the wrong thing, and then just like that, the moment has passed. So I guess I just like having the ability to just pause a moment forever in the hopes of the impossibility of just getting back to it. Doing it over.”

Tattoos are similar to me in a way that we can take a moment, a thing, a person, and turn it into permanent illustrations on our skin. I look at tattoos on my skin and reminisce the way my life was like when I got them, my feelings and what was most important to me at that moment.
