On Sat 23 March, I'll be part of the Tasmania Reads Week (jointly organised by TasWriters the Tasmanian Writers Centre and Libraries Tasmania). I'll be talking about my books at noon. Probably talk about adaptation of stories with complex issues for different audiences. Then, at 3.45pm, I'll be in conversation with the winning writers of Forty South Short Story Anthology 2023. I was one of the three judges (the other two were Amanda Lohrey and Rayne Allinson) of the 200++ submissions to Forty South's annual anthology, so I'm thrilled to be given the opportunity to talk about short story writing with these writers from other parts of Australia.
Join me there, and here's the full program. My talk at noon is free and the short story panel is $15. Get tics today for both, and see you the following Saturday (23 March) at Hadley's Orient Hotel, Hobart.
