AEIJ The academic journal group began in 1999. The first international conference was held at in Pusan, S. Korea with Prof. Rod Ellis as the key speaker. only.

Over the years the journal group has grown to its current status of 9 journals with 750 editors.. We are very happy to present the following Second Language Acquisition Research journals, International Journal of English for Specific Purposes (formerly Asian ESP Journal), English as a Foreign Language International Journal (formerly Asian EFL Journal), International TESOL Journal (formerly TESOL

Journal), Linguistics International Journal (formerly The Linguistics Journal), English International Language Journal which are under one unique parent, Academics Education. All past editions are stored for reading (all Open Access). Our group expanded its list of Open Access Journals starting with the MEJTEFL (Middle East Journal of TEFL) Southeast Asia Language Teaching and Learning (SALTeL) and The International Journal of Undergraduate Research in Applied Linguistics (IJURAL)

The Full editorial board decided, given our global expansion in receiving papers, and expanding the scope of the journals, and given the issue of the former journal partner (SITE International Australia) and their Federal court issues, it was timely for the founders, editorial boards and volunteers to move on. We are in discussions with SCOPUS to retain the previous rankings as our move entailed a new domain and new ISSN numbers. We shall keep you informed. Our new direction is to hold few conferences, and publish a few selected conference papers. We shall keep the journals Open Access and free to submit. We may set up a small Publication Fee and occasional premium papers that will undergo full editorial review. We look forward to your continued support and are always looking for more editors to add to our large team.
