People have been telling me that it is impossible to guess crypto pricing going up or down. And that it is a gamble. That is because they don't understand that there are 2 parameters in which I gauge them by - number of wallets and transactional volume.

This simple image is to show the growth of assets in the last 24 hours. The bigger the bubble the bigger the growth. The 2 coins that I heavily deployed my resources to, grew the fastest.

As scary as the BTC crash last few weeks, it is a good news for people who follow very strict economic principles to buy cryptoassets. PM me if you want to learn more.

2 Steps Process to project price movement - wallet growth and transactional volume.

Rather than listening to news from Elon Musk or country's promotion or banning of cryptocurrency, I would rather focus on hardcore numbers on growing my cryptoassets.

As of today 12 June 2021, I have observed that Polygon ($Matic) has displayed characteristics that it would grow in price. How do I infer that?

Transaction count (blockchain transactions) is a high daily 6 million plus transactions per second, and number of wallets is an impressive 4 million wallets with an impressive 700+ k wallets created in the last 24 hours.

This is in contrast of its lower number of wallets and also lower amount of transactions.

I have placed a small position of about US$ 1,300 on it. Much of my funds are tied on previous bets basing on the same principle on $BNB and $FTM.

These principles allow me to ride out the crash, and I predicted the crash 3 days before it actually happened.

Starting from years back, I was involved in blockchain and crypto and made some good money from it. Even during the pandemic I continue to make good money and returns from it.

I made 6-7 figure income from crypto. Even the last few months 6 figure income is normal. And even during the crash during late May 2021, I still made 100% APY basing on my deployed capital.

When setting/restoring up your blockchain wallet on your computer or notebook, never use a wireless keyboard (very bad) or mouse (not as bad as wireless keyboard).

When keying in of your seed phrase, your wireless keyboard broadcasts all the keystrokes you are entering, and a determined hacker can read all your entered keystrokes all the way from 250 ft away.

Do take note.

I have been talking more about blockchain & cryptocurrency to more people after the blockchain winter seems to be over. I am rather surprised when many of my friends told me,

"Raymond, I am more interested in the blockchain and its applications and not really interested in the cryptocurrency part"

At first, I am rather curious why do many of my friends think this way. When during a late night talk with my friend I finally realized why they think this way. I told them,

"If you disassociate blockchain from cryptocurrency, then this blockchain system is just an IT system. There is no point adding the word blockchain to make an IT system more sophisticated than it is".

If it is just an IT system that purports to solve the world's biggest problems, then it would be back to the original problem of all IT systems - why should anyone trust it?

The reason why blockchain is blockchain is because every owner (and in fact includes everyone who is not an owner) participates in protecting the data (mining, ownership for proof of stake). And only when everyone participates in protecting the data, the data can be trusted (because it is trustless).

When people participate in protecting the data, there must be economic incentives involved (mining gives economic returns, proof of stake gives economic returns), and the economic incentives are recorded in the cryptocurrency.

Don't try to understand blockchain seperate from cryptocurrency - any such attempt would not be fruitful. Blockchain separated from cryptocurrency is just IT systems - and we have it for 70 years.

And we have no reasons to trust or believe IT systems for all data can be manipulated.

Only when it is in blockchain it cannot be manipulated for it is protected - and that is why we need to reward people economically via cryptocurrency for offering protection services.

Call for Collaboration - Blockchain Integration for VendShare

Four to five years ago I bought over S$ 100,000 worth of blockchain mining hardware. Specifically for those who have an appreciation for these things, the mining hardware is on Scrypt algorithm and specifically mining Litecoin inspired Scrypt based blockchain.

They are of course no longer functionally useful for the purpose of mining a public blockchain like Litecoin. As they are way too old and Litecoin has advanced so much more in the last few years.

However, this set of hardware can still be functional and useful for the purpose of a research & development project in which it can function as a blockchain backbone for VendShare. At the same time, I am fine if I were to contribute to a project totally unrelated to VendShare, you may use it for the purpose of forking a Scrypt based blockchain system and perform your own academic interests for investigating a blockchain system.

I would say for the record that the power requirement of running all my hardware concurrently would incur incredibly high energy costs. Also, it may heat up your place. I don’t recommend powering all the hardware all at once. However, if you just take one piece of the hardware to run it, it requires less energy than a typical notebook.
