Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said: Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven.

Narrated Anas: I will narrate to you a Hadith and none other than I will tell you about after it. I heard Allah's Apostle saying: From among the portents of the Hour are (the following): -1. Religious knowledge will decrease (by the death of religious learned men). -2. Religious ignorance will prevail. -3. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual in*******se. -4. Women will increase in number and men will decrease in number so much so that fifty women will be looked after by one man.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, said: If a person marries a virgin while he is a widow, then he should stay with her for seven days. And when he marries a widow, he stays with her for three days. (Abu Qalaba) said: If I say that he (Anas, may God be pleased with him) attributed it to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. I will say the truth, but he said: "This is the Sunnah."
(Sunan Abu Dawud 2124)

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے منقول ہے کہ چند اصحاب نبی ﷺ ( اکٹھے ہوئے ان ) میں سے ایک نے کہا : میں عورتوں سے شادی نہیں کروں گا ۔ دوسرے نے کہا : میں گوشت نہیں کھاؤں گا ۔ تیسرے نے کہا : میں بستر پر نہیں سوؤں گا ۔ چوتھے نے کہا : میں روزے رکھوں گا‘ کبھی ناغہ نہیں کروں گا ۔ یہ بات رسول اللہ ﷺ تک پہنچی تو آپ نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی حمد و ثنا بیان فرمائی‘ پھر فرمایا :’’ کیا حال ہے ان لوگوں کا جو ایسی ایسی باتیں کہتے ہیں ۔ حالانکہ میں ( نفل ) نماز بھی پڑھتا ہوں اور سوتا بھی ہوں ۔ ( نفل ) روزے بھی رکھتا ہوں اور ناغے بھی کرتا ہوں اور میں نے ( ایک سے زائد ) عورتوں سے شادی بھی کر رکھی ہے‘ لہٰذا جو شخص میری سنت اور طریق کار کو ناپسند کرے گا‘ اس کا مجھ سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ۔‘‘

حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : اگر کوئی شخص ( اپنے ہاں ) بیوہ ( بیوی ) کے ہوتے ہوئے کنواری سے شادی کرے تو اس کے ہاں سات دن رکے ۔ اور جب بیوہ سے شادی کرے تو اس کے ہاں تین دن ۔ ( ابوقلابہ نے ) کہا : اگر میں کہوں کہ انہوں ( انس رضی اللہ عنہ ) نے اسے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی طرف منسوب کر کے ( مرفوع ) بیان کیا تو میں سچ ہی کہوں
گا ، لیکن انہوں نے کہا تھا :’’ سنت یہی ہے ۔“
