মিথ্যা প্রতিশ্রুতির করুণ পরিণতি: প্রতিশ্রুতি ভঙ্গের গল্প💔

কানাডার এক বরফ শীতল রাতে, এক কোটিপতি তার ঘরের সামনে এক দরিদ্র বৃদ্ধকে দেখতে পেলেন। তিনি বৃদ্ধকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, "এত ঠাণ্ডায় আপনি কীভাবে আছেন? আপনার গায়ে কোনো উষ্ণ কাপড় নেই!"
বৃদ্ধ উত্তর দিলেন, "আমার উষ্ণ কাপড় নেই, কিন্তু আমি মানিয়ে নিয়েছি।"
কোটিপতি উত্তর দিলেন, "আমার জন্য একটু অপেক্ষা করুন, আমি আপনার জন্য একটা উষ্ণ কাপড় নিয়ে আসবো।"
বৃদ্ধ খুশি হয়ে বললেন, "আমি অপেক্ষা করবো।"

কোটিপতি তার বাড়িতে ঢুকে নিজের কাজে এতটাই ব্যস্ত হয়ে পড়লেন যে, বৃদ্ধের কথা ভুলে গেলেন। সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে বৃদ্ধের কথা মনে পড়তেই তাড়াহুড়ো করে বেরিয়ে এলেন। কিন্তু বৃদ্ধ তখন আর বেঁচে নেই। ঠান্ডায় জমে গিয়ে বৃদ্ধের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।

বৃদ্ধের পাশে একটি চিরকুট পাওয়া গেলো, তাতে লেখা ছিলো:
"যখন আমার কোনো উষ্ণ কাপড় ছিল না, তখন আমি মানিয়ে নিয়েছিলাম। কিন্তু আপনি যখন আমাকে সাহায্য করার প্রতিশ্রুতি দিলেন, তখন সেই আশায় অপেক্ষা করতে করতে আমি ঠান্ডার সাথে লড়াই করার ক্ষমতা হারিয়ে ফেললাম।"

মিথ্যা প্রতিশ্রুতি মানুষকে ভেঙে ফেলে। তাই প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়ার আগে ভালোভাবে চিন্তা করুন, এবং অপ্রয়োজনীয় মিথ্যা প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া থেকে বিরত থাকুন।

[এই গল্প থেকে আমরা সবাই শিক্ষা নিতে পারি যে, মিথ্যা প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া একজন মানুষের উপর কতটা প্রভাব ফেলতে পারে।]

🔘 জীবনের সবকিছুই আপেক্ষিক
কারো মার্সিডিজ থামছে রাতের গভীরে নিষিদ্ধ পল্লীতে, ঘরে অপেক্ষারত স্ত্রী দীর্ঘশ্বাস ফেলছে...! কেউ ভাঙা ঘরে থেকে স্ত্রীকে নিয়ে অবিরত স্বপ্নের জোয়ারে ভাসছে।

কেউ ভাবছে আর কয়েকটা দিন! ডিভোর্স পেপারে সাইন করলেই মুক্তি। কেউ কেউ আবার একটা সম্পর্ক টিকিয়ে রাখার জন্য অবিরাম যুদ্ধ করে চলছে।

কেউ সদ্যোজাত সন্তানকে ডাস্টবিনে ফেলে দিয়ে দায়মুক্ত হতে চাইছে। আবার কেউ একটা সন্তানের জন্য সারাটা জীবন হাহাকার করছে!

কেউ বছরে কতোজন ভালবাসার মানুষ বদলে ফেলছে!
কেউ আবার তার ভালবাসার মানুষের জন্য বছরের পর বছর অপেক্ষা করে চলছে।

কেউ দামি শাড়ি হাতে পেয়ে তবু খুশি নয়! আবার কেউ তাঁতের নতুন শাড়ির গন্ধ বারবার শুঁকছে।

কেউ প্রিয়জন এর কাছ থেকে সোনা বা হিরের চুড়ি পেয়ে খুশি নয়,

কেউ প্রিয়জন এর কাছ থেকে পাওয়া কাঁচের চুড়িতে স্বর্গের সুখ খুঁজে পাচ্ছে।

কেউ লাখ টাকার ডাইনিং টেবিলে বসেও তৃপ্তি সহকারে খেতে পারছেনা! কেউ পেঁয়াজ, কাঁচালঙ্কা কচলিয়ে গোগ্ৰাসে পান্তা গিলছে।

কারো দামি খাটে শুয়েও ঘুমের ওষুধ খেতে হচ্ছে! কেউ আবার হিমেল হাওয়ায় অঘোরে ঘুমোচ্ছে।

কারো পড়ার টেবিলে নতুন বইয়ের সমারোহ কিন্তু পড়ার ইচ্ছে নেই। কেউ আবার পুরাতন বইয়ের দোকান চষে বেড়াচ্ছে, পকেট খালি বলে!

কেউ বিলাসবহুল গাড়িতে বসে চিন্তিত, সন্তানগুলো মানুষ হলোনা! এতো সম্পত্তি রাখতে পারবেতো? কেউ পায়ে হেঁটে পথ চলছে, আর মনে মনে ভাবছে... সন্তানতো মানুষ করতে পেরেছি! ঈশ্বর চাইলে, ওরা নিজেরাই নিজের জীবনটা গড়ে নেবে।

নানান রঙের মানুষ,
বিভোর নানা স্বপ্নে,
জীবন এঁকে বেড়ায়
সাদাকালো আলাপনে !!

আসলে এটাই বাস্তবতা। সুখ এবং শান্তি সর্বদাই আপেক্ষিক।

কারো সব থেকেও "সুখ" জিনিসটাই নাই, আবার কারো বাকি সব ঘাটতি থাকলেও সুখটা আছে!

কেউ দুইবেলা খাওয়ার জন্য সারাদিন হাটে, আবার কেউ খাবার হজম করার জন্য হাটে।

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is an infamous region in the North Atlantic Ocean bounded roughly by Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. This area has been the center of numerous reports of unexplained disappearances of ships and aircraft since the mid-20th century.

The myth of the Bermuda Triangle began to gain traction with the mysterious disappearance of Flight 19, a group of five US Navy bombers, in December 1945. Despite extensive searches, no wreckage was ever found. This incident, along with others, such as the loss of the USS Cyclops in 1918 and the Star Tiger and Star Ariel aircraft in 1948 and 1949 respectively, contributed to the legend.

Various theories have been proposed to explain these disappearances. Some suggest natural explanations like methane hydrates erupting from the ocean floor, which could potentially sink ships, or magnetic anomalies causing navigational errors. Others lean towards more sensational theories involving alien abductions, underwater cities like Atlantis, and time warps. However, skeptics argue that the Bermuda Triangle’s reputation is largely a result of sensationalized reporting and human error, noting that the rate of incidents in the region is not significantly higher than in other heavily traveled areas of the ocean. Many of the supposed mysteries can be attributed to bad weather, human error, and navigational challenges.

Despite its eerie reputation, extensive investigations and reviews by organizations like Lloyd's of London and the US Coast Guard have found no evidence that the Bermuda Triangle is any more dangerous than other parts of the ocean.

The Kea Trader, a container ship built in January 2017, experienced a significant maritime accident just six months after its launch. On July 12, 2017, the vessel ran aground on the Durand Reef in the Pacific Ocean while en route from Papeete, Tahiti, to Noumea, New Caledonia. The ship, managed by Lomar Shipping, was navigating using an Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) as its primary means of navigation.

The grounding was primarily attributed to human error. The officer of the watch (OOW) relied on an over-scaled ECDIS display, which led to an incorrect assumption of safe waters, resulting in the ship navigating into shallow waters and running aground. The vessel's route was not independently checked, and critical warnings about navigational discrepancies were missed.

After the grounding, salvage operations were undertaken, but the ship suffered further damage from heavy weather, which led to structural failures and water ingress in multiple cargo holds. The vessel was declared a constructive total loss and was eventually set to be scrapped due to the extensive damage and the complexities involved in refloating and repairing it.

আমার মতে কোটা সিস্টেম বাতিল করা উচিত। প্রত্যেকটা চাকরিতে প্রতিযোগিতার মাধ্যমে যোগ্য লোকের মূল্যায়ন হোক এটাই কামনা। এতে দেশকে সমানভাবে সকলের ভালোবাসার সুযোগ তৈরি হবে। যারা কোটার বাহিরে তারা যে দেশকে কম ভালোবাসে তা কিন্তু নয়।
