Available in both paperback and e-copy. I am a Miniature Schnauzer and I was born on 28 December, 2013. I was born and raised in a sunny island called Singapore! I share this page with Hachiko, the Japanese Spitz and Bartholomew, the Maltese. Human created this page to document our daily lives and what antics we get up to! I went home with my Human, Missy Skid, on 15 June, 2014. Ever since Uncle B

boy passed on in 2005, Human have not had the courage to have another dog. The pain of separation at death was too much for her to bear. But 9 years later, she decided it was time. And when she saw me, I looked into her eyes and it worked! She could not say no to me! I have been a therapy dog since I was 2 years old. I visit schools, nursing homes and hospices to offer fur therapy to those in need. Assisi Hospice and St Luke’s Hospital are my two adopted homes. I visit the patients, volunteers and staff there. I love volunteering with Human. She always reminds me to give when we can. No matter how small a gesture, you never know what it can do. We are very happy to see the support and recognition towards therapy dogs. We are thankful and would like to share with you some of the media coverage we have been featured in so far:

Taking this meeting very seriously.

Human is running a list through us and we have to make our choices on which ones are of higher importance.

As you know, Human brings back all sorts of yumtastic nom noms for us to try when she travels. It’s always tough for her having to decide which ones to get so she always ends up bringing half the store home 😂 We are, of course not complaining but this habit of hers is getting out of hand and we all need to do something about it.

Hence, a meeting is called!

Life can be so hard!

I was sitting at the table, taking a little break from visiting patients when they approached me and asked if they could pat me!

It’s always exciting at the hospice because we get to make new friends all the time and we learn so much from them!

These are my new friends from Korea and they were the sweetest! They wanted pictures with me and I was of course, happy to oblige!

Last night’s dinner situation -

Yesterday was the second day into the Lunar anew Year so of course we insisted on being all festive-liked when it comes to our food!

Other than our usual proteins, innards and vegetables, we had scallops, doggy-friendly shaped gold ingots and lucky bag!

Scallops are rich in phosphorus, omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin B12! It is so yummy and we love it!

Human loved them so much she went back twice to get more crocodile tails. Of course we had to pick up some of their Lunar New Year cookies too!

Lunar New Year 2025.

The Chinese character 满 (mǎn) means ‘full’ or ‘abundant’. During Lunar New Year, Chinese families traditionally paste the character on their rice containers. It carries a very important message as it signifies that the rice container will always remain full throughout the year and the family will never grow hungry as they will always have food to eat.

And that of course goes the same for our doggy bowls!

The Year of the Snake is a year in the Chinese zodiac that occurs every 12 years. The year 2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake, and the Lunar New Year began on January 29, 2025. We can’t wait!

Lunar New Year 2025.

One of the things Human does on her travels is check out what’s new with doggy snacks in different parts of the world. She is a firm believer in letting us try various delicacies around the world, just like the humans do!

When she was in Osaka last month, she visited Pet Paradise hoping to get us some Lunar New Year/snake-related merchandise. They Japanese are huge on Lunar New Year and there are always zodiac-related items on sale as it nears the festival, with the upcoming one being the year of the snake.

They were all sold out in Osaka which was a real bummer but good things come to those who have faith! Earlier this month, she was in Hong Kong and decided to check out a newly opened Pet Paradise outlet to try her luck. And these goodies were there waiting for her!

We can’t wait to enjoy all these snacks!

The festive season is when the humans all start putting on a little extra weight and the same goes for us 😂 But not to worry, everything in moderation!

Here we have a bowl made up of ingredients including duck, beef, cordyceps, dragon fruit, goat milk and pumpkin!

Sometimes, certain people come into our lives. You don’t know exactly why but you kinda feel things are brighter with them around. Their presence naturally uplifts us, and leaves us feeling positive and happy.

When Human said she was bringing us chips from Hong Kong she wasn’t joking! Well close enough, she brought us chicken jerky that looked really like chips!

Kudos to 華爾登餅店 Wah Yee Teng for running a human pastry business and yet keeping things inclusive for us pups! We love these chicken jerky chips!

Lunar New Year 2025.

We were gifted pineapple tarts and super cute orange keyrings from our friends at Yappily Pets! Thank you, Henry Kor Kor and Heidi Jie Jie for the love ♥️

I am 11 years old now and I have been visiting Yappily since I was 11 months old. Human is always in awe at how handsome I become after some Yappily magic! My eyebrows are on point. And not to mention my ears. They become pom poms!

Another reason why I go to Yappily for my grooming needs is because of the transparency they have in the shop - the grooming area is behind a clear glass wall and everything is visible to visitors. Human has unobstructed view access to me and can check in on me any time, although there is no need for that because I am in very good hands!
