(Malcolm) The Boeing 767 served as the foundation for what eventually became the Boeing 777. Interestingly, the 777 uses the same radome cover as the 767. It was fascinating to see United’s 767 parked next to Cathay’s 777-300ER, clearly illustrating how, despite their significant differences, one directly influenced the development of the other.
