(Malcolm) China Airlines’ Special Livery A350 lighting up the foggy night at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport. The strong winds made it even colder as we stood at the open air observation deck, but it was quite a fun experience overall.

(Malcolm) Just concluded a fantastic holiday to Taipei with , doing some spotting, shopping and eating along the way. The weather was cloudy and cold, but that didn’t dampen our spirits. We came back to Singapore with lots of beautiful photos and memories. Was nice to meet up with some of our local Taiwanese friends too! Here’s the first photo I edited from this trip, of EVA Air’s -10 Dreamliner returning home to Songshan Airport. I wanted to recreate a shot I took back in 2017 with the 787, even though the weather conditions were different. The 2024 photo gave off a more wintery vibe, and I went with a more classic film style of edit. Enjoy. 🇹🇼🥰

(Malcolm) It was iconic to catch the world’s ’s first Boeing 777-300ER, seen in Japan Airlines’ livery, parked at Haneda Airport’s remote bay. This was such an enjoyable photo to capture, with cool weather, beautiful light, and peaceful tranquility. Kinda wish all spotting sessions went this peacefully.

(Malcolm) A low and gradual climb out by Air Canada flight 20, on a cloudy and soon to be rainy day in Singapore. For this photo, instead of doing some fancy sky replacement or heavy gradient, I opted for a more hazy, wintery look, in order to reflect the mood when this photo was taken. Also, the dark tones of Air Canada’s livery perfectly contrasts with the white out skies. Enjoy!

(Malcolm) Have not done any long exposure photography in a while, felt it was time to get back in the groove. Here’s a simple 5 shot composite of Asiana’s A350 after push back. I retained much of the saturation from the orange flood lights, wanting to better showcase what the visual experience of Changi Airport at night.
