From a cobbler’s old window one day,
Where he watched as the shoes went astray,
Stood Bengt, calm and true,
With a shoemaker’s view,
Dreaming quietly of a new holiday.
Then one festive season he found
A new stage where bright lights would abound.
Now he stands in the glow,
Of a film studio’s show,
Silent star who is always around.
He’s the guardian of each perfect frame,
Never asking for fortune or fame.
From the cobbler’s old shop
To the studio’s top,
Bengt’s loyalty always the same.
So as holidays come into sight,
We send season’s best and delight.
