Jag fick nyligen uppdraget att göra musik till syskonen Åza och Fredrik Brennanders snabbt växande podcast "SnyggBrorsan & SuperSyrran" och det var ett väldigt roligt samarbete!

De hade såklart önskemål och vi bollade lite referenser fram och tillbaka för att hitta rätt superhjältekänsla.

Min mycket kräsna fru Katarina Ek lyssnar ofta på podd när hon kör bil och enligt henne är detta en av de allra roligaste poddarna just nu - åtminstone för dig som har syskon och uppskattar igenkänningshumor.

Hon hävdar att hon ofta sitter och skrattar högt i bilen när hon lyssnar på Åza och Fredrik och det är ett mycket gott betyg!

My good friend visited with his ridicilously good sounding Soldano Reverb O Sonic. We tried it through a bunch of different cabinets and speakers. It was an afternoon filled with various versions of sonic perfection 👍

Tip of the day: Pick that old, unused midi controller of yours and map it to control your DAW for hands free operation.

It’s SO nice to not having to use keyboard/mouse when tracking e.g guitars all on your own 👍

I just tried using my old Behringer FCB1010 with Cubase 13 (pro if it matters) and it works just perfect 😊

What was the last new thing you did that was a bit out of your comfort zone?

As for me, I needed to make a neck pocket a tad deeper to fit a new neck.

About 2 trillion million youtube routing instruction videos later I decided that I can do this myself! So, I ordered an router bit that fits a Dremel from (dang, that was a fast delivery!!) and it worked out just perfectly 🤩

I’m actually very pleased I took the plunge (pun intended) and decided to go for it on my own :)

So, the devil came for my wife but she was a handful so he gave her back. Yup! Thank you for beeing such a pain at the right time my beloved . And thank you for putting words to the event. We Go At It Alone / Woco Tape

WOCO TAPE stands for Worldwide Collective of Talented People and is a music project based on the idea that artists don’t have to be in the same city or even country to create something together. It was founded in Sweden and the first song, We Go It Alone, features artists from Sweden, South Africa and even a Pole living in Switzerland.

The idea behind Woco Tape is that the band shifts from song to song. This first edition was a bit of a trial run, and as such it’s been tremendously successful, at least artistically. The musicians, the producer, as well as the artist who created the cover, all provided mindblowing contributions.
