🤓 Did you know that CLUTTER is the physical manifestation of chaos in our minds? It’s true! Our homes often reflect how we feel on the inside.

And darlin', I'm not here to judge; I'm here to help.

In January and early February 2025, I'll be crossing the pond to North Carolina and Ohio to assist some wonderful clients, and I’m opening my calendar to add a few more. If you need help with Swedish Death Cleaning and De-Cluttering, now’s the time to connect!

Together, we'll go through your belongings, step-by-step, with care and respect. You'll need to be ready for change, but I'll be right there with you every step of the way.

Here are the dates I still have available (as of Oct. 7th):

🌿 20 hours (1 week) available in NORTH CAROLINA from January 12th to January 17th
🌿 40 hours (2 weeks) open in OHIO from January 20th to 24th and February 3rd to 7th

😍 Another satisfied client! YEY!! 😍

I never knew how fun it was to be able to help people with something I was actually good at. 😆

This past weekend, Thomas and I went down to Skövde to help a BEAUTIFUL gal with some decluttering of an apartment that she has lived in for over 60 years!

When we were discussing what it was going to look like to work together, she asks, "Well, what am I going to do while you go through all my things"?

Great question!

You will be sitting right there, on a comfy chair, whilst we go through your belongings, piece by piece, and you tell us what you would like to happen with them .... donate, save for your children or grandchildren, throw away, save for yourself. You and only you are the one that decides what happens with your precious lifetime of belongings, not us.

She sat ceremoniously on her chair, made decisions, helped us get everything sorted in just over 13 hours and we left with a smiling client in our memory. 🙏

Can work be any more enjoyable than that?

We are the lucky ones.

YES! 🌅 THE SCANDINAVIAN SOLUTION

INTERESTING PERSON I JUST FOUND: The 'Crappy Childhood Fairy'. Who can't love a name like that for a YouTube channel? 🧐

I came across this wonderful video from this woman named Anna Runkle, 'The Crappy Childhood Fairy', where she talks about the connection between CLUTTER and (childhood) TRAUMA.

"A cluttered living space is one common sign a person has been affected by past trauma. But Complex-PTSD often manifests as a similar kind of chaos and overwhelm in your thinking, your relationships, your emotions and the way you spend your time. She shares personal stories and anecdotes and her presentation is so real that I couldn't help but fall for her.

"I don't know where to start and I am overwhelmed."

Of course you are! Hello! Everyone who does this work is when they start. You've never done Swedish Death Cleaning before and you have no idea what to expect, how to get started, what to think about first, how much work it's going to take. We get you.

Like with anything that matters, we want to do a good job and get it done as quickly as possible.

Sorry to say, this isn't a quick process.

This is a LIFE LONG process and we are going to show you, very simply, how YOU can get into the flow of this work, with us by your side, then you will continue on long after we have left.

It's a rhythm and it takes a minute to understand it. To feel into it.

We start in one room, together, and we continue side by side till that room is completed. Then we move to the next one. Still together. Till it's completed. Then the next.

Trust me, you will feel a HUGE sense of freedom fairly quickly as we walk you through it and then when we leave you, you will have the rhythm inside of you.

And you will know how to continue doing this SOUL FREEING work yourself. And then you show your loved ones, and they show their loved ones... and so on ... and so on ... and at the end of the day, no ONE will leave a mess behind.

'Den Svenska Konsten att Döstäda': Has anyone else here in SWEDEN seen this series? it came out in the USA and now it is available to watch on SVT Play (link below).

It's 8 episodes and it's really quite funny, touching, sad, lovely, all of the emotions are touched and Amy Poehler does a great job narrating it.

Three Swedes go to Kansas City to DEATH CLEAN for 8 different people. One is a Designer, one is a Psychologist and one is an Organizer.

Du är hemma på semestern, vill ta det lugnt och mysa med familjen och vänner. Men där ligger alla saker som du försöker undvika att titta på när du öppnar dörren snabbt och slänger in något nytt som du inte heller vill se.

Om du bara tar fem timmar och jobbar med oss vid din sida, kan vi röja ut ett förråd, fixa till garaget så att du kan komma in... kanske till och med parkera bilen där inne igen!

Du bestämmer vad DU behöver hjälp med. Vi pratar ihop oss och ordnar med en tid så kommer vi. Vi kan börja tidigt innan dagen blir för varm, och vara klara vid kl 13 så att du kan starta grillen och bjuda in folk utan att vara generad om någon skulle råka öppna "den där" dörren!

This week's final guest before July's Radical Sabbatical on the "More Moss to the People" podcast is the glorious spirit, Dr. Alexis Yamokoski. 🤩

Over three years ago, she underwent "The Great Reassessment" of her life. She realized she was living solely in the identity of her career and knew it needed to change. What started as a whisper turned into a nudge and eventually became a roar.

Through using her voice, connecting from her heart, sharing her stories, and reframing her life after losing both of her parents within a few months of each other, Alexis has transformed into who she is today.

And she may be different tomorrow.

But one thing she knows for sure is this: "There's nothing very serious happening here."

Oh yeah... it's a very good episode. It's rare that I get SO much enjoyment when listening back to my podcast recordings.

After every guest meets me on Zoom to record our podcast episode, I sit and listen through the entire episode to create the Show Notes.

Those Show Notes are then attached to every weeks recording so that a listener can get an idea of what we discussed and what they can expect to hear. I also attach links to anything referenced in the episode as well as contact details for my guest.

It takes a while to do this work but it's a process I enjoy as I get to listen to the chat again ... from an 'outsiders' perspective ... think of a fly on the wall.

This week when I was listening in, I found myself smiling and laughing along with the conversation and really enjoying myself. My hope is that YOU, the listener, or watcher if you prefer to watch us chat on my YouTube channel, will enjoy yourself too.
