ation under the tutelage of Maestro Joe Paparone. Having played in bands since age 16, James has tackled many roles over the years including working as a booking agent, band manager, tour manager, publicist, event co-ordinator and management, and teaching guitar lessons. James decided to return to study and commenced a Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Engineering & Sound Production at JMC Academy, Melbourne. Seen for a few years as the last unconquered bastion of his musical knowledge and understanding, James’s studies in Audio Engineering served multiple purposes; to be self-sufficient and confidently produce music without the aid of others, and to take the opportunity to work in Recording Studios all over the world. Learning new things always brings a high level of excitement and channeling that feeling back into music helps create new worlds to explore, developing emotive music that the listener can resonate strongly with. This is the aim and end goal with the music James McGauran makes. As a musician, especially solo, composition becomes a natural and necessary process in your attempt to express your ideas to their fullest. When done successfully, the results can be extraordinary. James has developed these skills over many years and through White Wolf Compositions has set his intention on offering his talents and services to others. Composition-wise, James is available to tackle any project big or small. From albums of Meditation music to original music for film and television, contact James to discuss your needs. For your Engineering and Production needs, James is a Freelance Engineer with close ties to several local Recording Studios, utilising their studio space when in need, project to project. Depending upon your recording or mixing needs, a variety of options are available. For those on a lower budget, James is developing a home project studio where mixing sessions can be done.
