Assyria TV Assyria TV is an independent tv channel based in Sweden. Assyria TV is owned by the AMI-Press (Assyrian Media Institute).

Assyria TV is tasked with covering developments within the Assyrian nation and outside developments which have an effect on different Assyrian communities. Our goal is to be a source of information and knowledge, scrutinize and create room for debate. The ambition of the channel is to offer wide selection of programs accommodating diversity and different opinions. What we publish shall be characte

rized by democratic and humanistic values, enlightenment, diversity and quality. We put the spotlight on issues in an impartial and factual way.

Dead and injured after attack on church in Damascus

At least 20 people were killed in a su***de attack at a Christian church in the Syrian capital Damascus. 52 others were injured, according to the Ministry of Health.
A su***de bomber entered St. Elijah's Church, opened fire, and then blew himself up, the Interior Ministry announced.
It blamed the jihadist militia "Islamic State" (IS) for the attack.

On July 19th, from 1pm-4pm, the fine arts department will be hosting an art exhibition for our fine arts instructors.

Our instructors are all accomplished professional artists, and we are honored to share their work with all of you. The exhibition will feature the work of Pardis Ahmadpour, Kathryn Gauthier, Gregorio Mejia, and Christen Ketchum.

The exhibition is free to attend, and you must email [email protected] in order to RSVP.

Our programs are informed by humanistic and democratic values and we aspire to a have a high quality in our programs with an unbiased approach. Assyria TV is governed by a democratically elected board.

In 2019 Assyria TV was officially approved by and registered with the Swedish Press and Broadcasting Authority which supervises and licenses tv, radio and press in Sweden.
