Assyria TV is tasked with covering developments within the Assyrian nation and outside developments which have an effect on different Assyrian communities. Our goal is to be a source of information and knowledge, scrutinize and create room for debate. The ambition of the channel is to offer wide selection of programs accommodating diversity and different opinions. What we publish shall be characte

rized by democratic and humanistic values, enlightenment, diversity and quality. We put the spotlight on issues in an impartial and factual way.

The Assyrian Cultural Foundation is thrilled to present the third lecture of Rediscovering Assyria: A Nabu Circle Lecture Series on January 25th at 1:00 PM (CST) for a lecture by Dr. Jonathan Valk, University Researcher and Docent in Ancient Near Eastern Studies at the University of Helsinki.
Dr. Valk's topic for the lecture is "Between Barbarism and Civilization: Assyrians and Arameans in the Neo-Assyrian Empire." Dr. Valk will revolutionize our understanding of what it means to say “our Aramaic language.”

Our mission is to spread information and knowledge, investigate and make room for an open debate. Our ambition is to offer variation and diversity in views. Our programs are informed by humanistic and democratic values and we aspire to a have a high quality in our programs with an unbiased approach. Assyria TV is governed by a democratically elected board.

In 2019 Assyria TV was officially approved by and registered with the Swedish Press and Broadcasting Authority which supervises and licenses tv, radio and press in Sweden.
