The Lift-Off tour continues, and Asker Zone follows, this time Tokyo Lift-Off 🥰🇯🇵
The most exciting is that in addition to submitting for Best Feature, we also submitted for Best Actor. It would be great if our very best Albin Bjärvall got recognised for his tremendous work as "Pelé"🤞🤞

We are excited to announce that "Asker Zone" is part of Pinewood Studios' Berlin Lift-Off Film Festival. "Lift-Off" is an arena that may help the film with sales agents and so on.

Happy new year and our best wishes for 2024!
We had a nice start to the year as "Behind the Scenes" was noticed in three different categories in the Turkish "Black Owl Film Festival" 🥳
This is the second time the film was awarded for editing and the third time for Best Independent Film. Also nice with an honorable mention for acting, partly because the film was nominated for best actor in another festival.

Everyone here at Kanalstrasse are humming Frank Sinatra as we learn that Behind the Scenes has been selected for Your Way International Film Festival. Based on what we can gather from the festival's web page, the film is nominated for "Best No-budget Film" 🥳

We're looking forward to Thursday (Sept 1st) and the Live at Heart screening of "Behind the Scenes".

Completed a rough-cut of "Asker Zone" this week. The first version clocks in at two hours and almost 13 minutes. Room for trimming, and a lot of work remains with grading, sound design and VFX.

Maybe Facebook feels bad for the page having so little traffic 🤔
Our opinion are: the page gets the traffic it deserves.
On the other hand, reviews could be fun. So if you have seen one or more Kanalstrasse films, write a review based on that. That's going be interesting 😬🙈

This weekend we wrapped shooting of our full-length feature "Asker Zone" (Asker Zon, in Swedish). It is a sci-fi/drama, based on a screenplay Öystein Thorsen has been working on for some five years. Filming started in the end of June, and went on throughout the summer. After a break in the fall - while preparing a unique location - we wrapped at November 27th.
It's been an incredible journey with a lot of people helping out on their spare time, and we are extremely grateful for all the hard work and help from everyone involved ❤️

Half funny coincidence that "Börje's Colombia" premiered at Swedish television back in the Easter of 2011, and now, ten years later, everyone here at Kanalstrasse are pleased to present the trailer for our latest production "Behind the Scenes".
It's been a spontaneous project, filmed without a screenplay nor a crew. It's also our longest production clocking in just beyond 67 minutes.
We're hoping a festival or two will find it worthy a screening.
