Today is , and as a studio filled with climbers, this day has a very special place in our hearts. When we aren’t scaling the walls of Kläterverket in Sickla during our lunch hour, a lot of swords have ventured out into the world to reach new heights. This map shows the mountains we’ve climbed – so far!

The UN’s intention with this day is to highlight the threat mountains are under due to climate change, this year under the theme “Restoring mountain ecosystems”. They aren’t just beautiful, scenic spots for us to hike, climb, and bicycle – 15% of the world’s population lives on mountains, and half of all of humanity depends on the freshwater they provide.
