So happy to share that our new production QUIET LIFE by Greek auteur Alexandros Avranas (Miss Violence) will have its premiere in the Official Selection of the 81st Venice International Film Festival, in the Orizzonti competition.

The story is set in Sweden and stars the great Chulpan Khamatova, Grigory Dobrygin, Naomi Lamp, Mira Pashulina, Eleni Roussinou, Lisa Loven Kongsli, as well as an ensemble of some of the best Swedish actors: Lena Endre, Johannes Kuhnke, Anna Bjelkerud, Alicia Eriksson, Sofia Pekkari, Matilda Gross and more.

The film is produced by Les films du Worso in France in co-production with Fox in the Snow (Olivier Guerpillon, Frida Hallberg) in Sweden, Playground & Asterisk in Greece, Amrion Production in Estonia, Making Movies in Finland and Senator in Germany.

This is Fox in the Snow’s third feature film at the Mostra in Venice and we are very proud of this exceptional film that we have been working on for the last four years and is the first fiction to tackle the apathy syndrom.

Huge thanks to our Swedish partners Swedish Film Institute (film commissioner Hanna Lejonqvist) and Film i Väst (Kristina Börjeson, Anthony Muir), who believed in the project early on, and to our amazing cast and crew who worked hard to fulfil the unique vision of the director!

Stockholmsvänner! Vår festivalsuccé COSTA BRAVA LEBANON får sin efterlängtade svensk premiär nästa vecka på Stockholms Filmfestival! Passa på se den redan nu, innan biopremiären nästa år med Folkets Bio!

Filmen har redan kammat hem tio priser sedan urpremiären i Venedig för två månader sedan. Stockholms Filmfestival kommer också att bjuda på en Q&A med regissören Mounia Akl och filmstjärnan Nadine Labaki, samt på ett seminarium om filmens "Green Shoot" under festivalens Industry Days.

One more award this weekend! Costa Brava, Lebanon by Mounia Akl is among TIFF’s big juried award winners. The 2021 NETPAC Jury composed from Gemma Cubero del Barrio, Isabelle Glachant and Elhum Shakerifar has selected Costa Brava, Lebanon as this year’s NETPAC winner.
