If you’re in Malmö and couldn’t make it to the Piracy 013 exhibition opening, you still have the chance to see it. I will keep the exhibition open on these times:

Thursday (Jun 20): 17-20
Tuesday (Jun 25): 17-20
Thursday (Jun 27): 17-20

Drop by and hang out for a while! Take the opportunity to get the whole set of the first 13 Piracy is Liberation books (or the books you’re missing).
Both the single issues and the thick collected editions will be available.You can follow this trip of 20 years of my life as a comics creator (ok, there was a 10 year break between books 011 and 012, but I hope you can see some evolution in my writing/drawing skills during that gap anyway).

There will also be some classic Wormgod prints available in varying sizes, in case you have some empty wall space you need filling.

Or just come and see some pages from the latest book, printed in large format, with some trivia/behind the scenes comments added.

The new Piracy is Liberation just came from the printer the other day, and there will be sort of a multipart release event in different places. So the 2024 release tour will be as follows:

Jönköping, April 26: The Old World Is Dying
Stockholm, May 25-26: SIS
Malmö, June 7: Release exhibition @ Rum för Serier

All our books (CBA, Piracy is Liberation, the Creation trilogy) + subscription (CBA) available at Hybriden!

CBK has been around since 2001 and is working for a more varied and interesting comics culture in Sweden and internationally. Besides publishing the international comics anthology CBA, CBK organizes exhibitions, publishes graphic novels and works with other comics related events.

Thanks, I guess. But you don't seem very trustworthy for some reason... A call for submissions isn't usually that exciting for (let's see who you claim to be) someone who works at "a virtual office with millions of users around the world" and "recently published some related content" and "immediately noticed the relation to one of [their] posts".

For this volume of CBA, we have no theme planned, we just want stories. Maybe we’ll set a theme after the deadline if we can find words to describe the comics we get, maybe we’ll leave it with no title. In any case, send us your comics and we’ll see what happens!

CBA vol 50 in the Supertoon selection!

CBA vol 50 was included in the official selection for the Supertoon animation & comics festival of 2021 (July 19-23). We’re accompanied by some other CBK-related friends/artists, like Komikaze and Stripburger in the magazine selection and Radovan Popović and Igor Kordej in the book selection....
