Joakim Barfalk designed and equipped Yellow Brick Studios at Eslövs folkhögskola this year and here's the story about how we ended up with SSL Origin as the centerpiece and about our first recordings at the studio.

Nine songs, written after we moved back from Nashville, looking at our everyday life with a new found perspective. Swedish melancholia at its best, but dressed up in a North American suit, custom made for us, by us.

Nine songs about the walls we put up between us and other people, and between conflicting parts of ourselves. How and why we're putting them up to feel safe from harm, tearing them down for love, reaching over them trying to help someone and what we can and can’t share between us as songwriters and partners.

Nine songs, creating a musical narrative trying to understand the world around us and the world within us, finding beauty in life's most complex moments.

Nine songs that we hope that you will enjoy listening to, maybe the old fashion way with a cup of coffee in an armchair, sending us a line about that particular line that captured your attention.

Recording of the string section for the studio cast album of the new musical, Dreamland, by Chris Miller & Nathan Tysen, to be released by Concord Theatricals () later this year.

Needles to say that the string arrangements done by Nils-Petter Ankarblom added at least one more dimension to the tracks that we recorded a few weeks ago at Chromophone Studios. Can't wait to hear vocals on this.

Strings and room were captured by some of our favorite mics from our mic locker at Eslövs Folkhögskola new multi room by Joakim Barfalk.



We're proud to be a part of this project and can't wait to show you the final music.
