Long time no post. Come across this one from Naval, which is a good one to share. =)

Making God your only boss is a rejection of that fragmentation. It’s choosing one compass, a higher principle, and letting it guide you when the world pulls you everywhere at once. Suddenly, the questions change. You stop asking, “Will they like this?” and start asking, “Is this true? Is this right? Does this align with who I am?” The crowd’s noise fades, replaced by a quieter, steadier voice within.
The paradox is that by serving one higher ideal, you become free. You’re no longer enslaved by a thousand conflicting demands. Criticism doesn’t shake you. Praise doesn’t seduce you. You work hard, but not out of fear. You act boldly, but not out of ego. You live on your terms because your “boss” isn’t fickle or fleeting, it’s something infinite.
